Can someone create a backup of the latest software update. Im using my padfone x with T-Mobile . I cant download the update without an Att sim card thanks

I won't be able to make one. I no longer have the PadFone X. If someone DOES make one, I can host it at my mediafire.

Apropos of nothing, I find it amusing that when linking this thread on XDA, part of the link's text is truncated as "padf...ckups." Seems apt.

what is the mount path of the boot.img

nvm found it

now i only need boot.img

Here are twrp and stock recovery.
copy them to the root of the internal sd card and unzip them.
Also I have been unable to boot into twrp without it connected to the computer. not a big issue just a fyi

This restores factory recovery
su -c 'dd if=/sdcard/recovery.img of=/dev/block/platform/msm_sdcc.1/by-name/recovery' bs=4096; sync; reboot recovery

This flashes twrp.
su -c 'dd if=/sdcard/twrp.img of=/dev/block/platform/msm_sdcc.1/by-name/recovery' bs=4096; sync; reboot recovery
Run them from rooted adb.
