Default Cyanogen keyboard on stock Rom?

Hi,

unfortunately, I had to revert back from CM11 to the stock rom (because of issues with the HDMI output in combination with my Pioneer AppRadio).

It's not that bad, but I really miss the way the hardware keyboard worked under CM: When pressing the SYM key and then a, o or u, it automatically converted to , and - special characters which are frequently needed in German.

Is there a way to install this functionality on the stock rom of the Photon Q?
