The game itself requires a lot of RAM to run, it'd be killed everytime if it managed to get past the Niantic logo.
plus, the weak, single-core processor and the low-power GPU would make the experience utterly unpleasant.
I tried it with various set-ups, zRAM at extremely high values, Dalvik VM sizes, nearly no apps installed... only thing I haven't tried yet is disk swapping, but you really want to do so? It will make the game (and the entire Android system) sluggish... In all cases, the game did not get past the Niantic logo before crashing.
