Yaaaahoooooooo! I managed to fix a lag for weather animation when trying to scroll screens after unlock!!!! Please try and post here results.
Gallery 3D fully working even with screen rotate, took it from Villain 12 and fixed screen rotation.

Not yet. Will prepare some small update tomorrow. This update will let u install 2.4 over 2.3 with app2sd w/o wipe.
Too much battery drain
For about 3 hours - 45% !!!
I use only Wi-Fi
Please check your apps, mostly it is one of them eat your battery. For about 4 monthes you 1st who tell me about this. I'm also using Wifi (i dont turn it off, only at night) and i charge my Hero one in 1.5-2 days.
My rom is 2.4+app2sd+ploc672+battery+icons.
PS. Anyway w/o any additional info i can not help you.

I have nothing different apps from the previous rom(VillainROM 12) but the battery there is draining for about two days. I'm using rom 2.4+app2sd+battery booster+ icons. I don't know what is ploc672!?
cool! that was a major issue I had with this rom, if you've solved it then it's probably the only obvious bug that most people would notice (the exchange stuff seems to be 2.1 sense rom trouble in general so not really anything you're doing wrong).
Since I'm messing with 2.3 roms right now anyway, I might as well try yours again since I'm in a flashing mood.
I'll try your gallery 3d patch too although I still prefer 2d galleries to the slow and unreliable 3d one - fixed though it may be, it's an inferior gallery app.

. I think u need to do a full wipe, flash rom and may be only some ploc kernel (i suggest ploc652). If u prefer fly kernel u will install it later. Then try install apps one by one. Also dont use Titanium or similar tools to restore apps with data, especially system apps.that is a vital point when troubleshooting things imho. although I love tit backup and do restore user apps with data often (to maintain game save states for one thing ;-), if you don't do this one app at a time, or install clean one at a time, you will never find out which app is causing you grief.
and it is very likely that it's one particular app causing you problems. Could even be one app that works fine normally but not when restored using tit backup, or maybe only has issues with this rom, or maybe only has issues after a reboot, or maybe only dislikes you personally.

i did already 270 rotation, do u really need 360 ? It will be in 2.5
just adding my support for this rom! been a long time villainrom supporter but they seem to have mostly abandoned the hero and esp Sense which is a must for me for any rom. this is the best sense rom i've used yet!
looking forward to 2.2 sense if you can do it and would happily pay for the settings app to support you!

hawst, you are god! Somebody wrote about battery - well, I need to charge my phone every two days (even on stock ROM) so it depends how you use your phone

10Goal for create another ROM is make fresh port of latest Slide/Espress firmware for our Heros, with maximum possible localization (WWE with priority for Russian, localization of mostly 100% whereever it possible w/o localizing by hand). Additionaly change some Espresso applications to make them looks like in Sense.
ROM is based on latest at moment of 1.0 release firmware for myTouch 3G Slide 1.35.531.1. Locale resources are taken from HTC Desire ROM.

Main features for version 2.0 (full changelog is in 2nd post).

Some original slide rom features left unchanged:
- Bootanimation (no sound, loop)
- All apps works fine (RSS, FriendStream, etc.)
- All themes (removed bubbles from icons only)
- Copy/Paste like in Legend ROMs (Warning! - be carefull using Titanium Backup, feature can be lost in Browser in case of boormarks restore from ROM w/o this feature)

and after I flashed the arabic fonts in sense and messages app its RTL BUT not connectd and in the apps its LTR ..
Arabic is Right to left and connected like this (العربية) But in the rom its like this (ا ل ع ر ب ي ة)
