Yes. I needed to use files from my Nexus One to get it to work.

(1) Install from the Market.
(2) DO NOT START THE APP YET.
(3) There are two files to copy over. The files are in the following folder on my phone: /data/data/com.google.android.apps.googlevoice/shared_prefs/ . The files are the only 2 in that folder, 2 .xml files.
(3.1) If you have previously tried starting the app, go to /data/data/com.google.android.apps.googlevoice/ and delete everything there.
(4) Those two files from (3) need to go to the same location on the Nook Color.
(5) Start the GV app.
(6) Check in your notifications. You should see a little triangle with an exclamation mark. Select that notification, and grant the GV app the permissions it desires.
