i still got the same problem as before.
the baud rate drop down menu seems broken. the last selection is a mix of com ports and the speed of 256000.
even the connection drop down seems messed up only serial(com1  is selectable.
before i ran the WM6_BT_DUN.cab i was able to select the serial and ircom from the connection tab.
are you guys using the modem link interface? does usb work? is this work around only for bluetooth and tomtom?
has anyone connect their laptop to the internet by tethering their phone with this? |
Did you ever manage to solve this? I had the same problem. I could only select "Serial" under connection, and the last baud rate entry was messed up. Since I only needed the USB part, I just replaced "Serial|COM1:|" with "USB|COM8:|" and removed everything after "256000" from the registry. It now looks like this:
"Connections"=multi_sz:"USB|COM8:|110 300 600 1200 2400 4800 9600 14400 19200 38400 56000 57600 115200 128000 256000"
I can now use my phone as a USB modem. To use serial or IR you'll have to edit the registry and replace "USB|COM8:|" with "Serial|COM1:|" or "IrCOMM|COM3:|".
