Hit volume up and keep pressing. Add start also and keep pressing and for last add powerbutton keep pressing.
Keep pressed all 3 buttons until the phone shuts down and startup again. (don't stop pressing in between until you see recovery screen).
If you do it this way, no need to pull out your battery first.
For me it works all the time.

Hmm quite different from what I tried to do.
Alright I will try it out next time (I hope never ever more!) I get into trouble with my Galaxy Note.

updated v1 to v2 and all seems well, but i seem to be on baseband kk5. is that fine?

Base bands do not matter, there are minimal differences in version if any at all.

You pick the baseband best for you, best signal, lowest battery consumption. Etc...

Thanks for this good ROM.
It's working pretty well with ADW EX and ICS theme.

+call recording
