Thanks for responding! Yes, there is plenty of space on the sdcard. I tried your tip, the backing data up process still gets to about 88% (judging from the incomplete CWM data.ext4.tar file) and then fails. My guess is there might be a corruption issue in the /data folder somehow, which is strange since I double nullified before installing v1.5, so maybe there's a problem with my Titanium Backup? Any other ideas before I have to wipe everything and try again? Thanks again!

No videocamera until LG gets off their butts. Try video illusion in the meantime. The camera works fine though.
Hell, thank you for your awesome work and all the time you've put into making this ROM for the G2X. You will be missed! You have been a great developer, no matter what anyone else says. I might send a beer your way, sounds like you might need one!
Please stay, Hell. The way I see it, the more ROMs there are, the more choices we have. There is no best ROM; only one that works best for a specific phone. I personally don't like people talking trash about others especially in public instead of PMs.
With all software development the end goal is user experience and there are a lot of paths to get there. Arguing over what a "dev" is and isn't is really besides the point - everyone uses other people's code and as long as they give credit where it's due, it's all good. All of the roms have lots of happy users and it's unfortunate that some factions have formed over time and the competition has turned from friendly into something else.
What owain did and wrote was definitely harsh and should have been communicated in private, not public, but that just seems to be just how he communicates (he started directed at EB about closed source then flipped 180 with a vengeance). It's unfortunate if, irregardless of all of the community support of Hell and his team, this act brings things to an end.
It must be really ****ty to dedicate your time, working for free for a community and then be attacked for it, but these things just happen now and again, especially online, and the mass majority of people in this community are very grateful to ALL of the rom developers.

There's nothing wrong or to be ashamed of in compiling and cherrypicking and coordinating fixes and such. If it doesn't happen to involve [much] actual programming, OK don't pretend it does. There's no shame in producing something that has value, and Hell's rom's do.
Now if one were to choose to :
1) Quit doing what you love because someone else didn't like it
2) Take a tantrum because someone hurt your feelings
3) Allow fanbois to misrepresent your work into something it's not
Then those things are things to be ashamed of. Luckily, every one always gets a chance to determine what they are going to do every day and everybody has the right to change their mind and take a new direction.

The best way to handle it is by doing your thing and make your roms the best that they can be. Stepping away is just letting donic and his fanboys win by running you out of town. But its your life. I'm just glad I have a kindle I really like your work

Well this just ruined my day. What's worse than the Devs that started the rumors and the lies are all the lemmings that believe anything they're told without a shred of evidence. Then to top it off these people then regurgitate this same spew to anyone that will listen a tough out were factual.

That being said.....for anyone interested, if I an forced to choose another rom for my theme, it will be AOKP. They do good work and I've always had respect for Whitehawkx.

Good one plus everyone has 'opinions' and opinions are neither right nor wrong, so they shouldn't promote their opinion as the 'the only right thing'.
