So it seems that a lot of people prefer darker backgrounds. The problem with just replacing the default background image with a darker one is that the black texts are unreadable. So here's a version with white texts (and corresponding white items such as clock, status icons, battery and operator icons.)

So, here's a version just for that. I used a color theme background similar to the WM7 background. If you have background requests, just post it here and I'm surea lot of people here would be more than willing to help you out with changing the background image if you're not into dat files editing.
To change the color background, just go to SPB Menu > Tools > Themes > and choose your color. Correspondingly, your today theme wallpaper will be changed to something similar. So, I guess no need for Today Theme tsk for this one.
