After that they only ever a) wipe data to reset, or b) upgrade to the next release. Remember that this is a OTA update for existing devices. It obviously has some fancy first-boot scripts that the full stock developer ROM doesn't need.
Please don't fill the thread up calling this a "bug", it's a feature and we're all going to have to get used to it.
Agreed. So the mission is now to find find that fancy script then destroy it!
