1. Download SQLight editor from the market
2. If you don't have a good file manager also get Root Explorer from the market.
3. After both are installed - use Root Explorer to browse to /data/data/com.google.android.gsf/databases/gservices.db and click on it
4. Now click on "main"
5. Scroll down to gtalk_vc_wifi_only - highlight and hold
6. Press "Edit Record" and change the "value" to false instead of true

Hi,

I unlocked the bootloader and rooted with TWRP recovery. I would like try this ROM out but would like to ask couple of questions before I do that.

1. Is this ROM performance better than stock?.
2. If I want to go back to stock after flashing this ROM ,will I be able to restore the nandroid backup of stock?

Appreciate your help.

i like more than stock about restore i dont know i never go back

Hi Bunny

1- Test by yourself, if you like stock look go for Elegancia stock look, if you prefer theme look go for Colored Rom
2- You can either go back using your Nandroid or either falsh back the stock RUU, but once you test and taste Elegancia, I will be very surprised if you go back to stock !

PS: do not forget to flash the kernel (boot.img) and read all our Q&A Section, it has all required information

Maybe that kernel is out and we got Turge etc...working now on dev, we can get a solution to that issue.

Since you are on Telus build, can you tell us if the BT Calls have a clear and good sound quality (unlike the ATTs) ?

I just installed this Rom and just started playing around and the first thing I noticed was the weather widget on the home screen doesn't show the current location even when the GPS is turned on. Am I missing anything?

Yes mine is perfectly clear. I am using a Sony mw600. Currently on Telus stock.

For some reason my Google voice notifications aren't working when my screen is off. I don't have the battery saver enabled. I was getting notifications just fine on 3.0. Is there something I've overlooked or should I roll back to 3.0?

Edit: I seem to be getting the notification later than normal if I do get it with the screen off.

Having an issue with setting different notification tones for specific apps through personalize. I can set the default, but for specific apps like mail, calendar, etc. Will always stay default. Any ideas or solutions?
