Build 4 is working fine for me. I had some issues with flashing the last two builds. I usually just go through the normal wipe cache, dalvik and flash. The last two times doing this though has sent my phone into a system ui crash loop.

Personally I like starting off fresh but sometimes it's irritating having to set everything back up.

Anyway, build 4 is great so far!

I don't know if it was flashing Build 3 dirty or what, I had terrible battery life and a lot of small issues with Build 3(exchange and calendar keeps the OS awake, calendar won't sync...etc). I did a clean flash for Build 4 and its been pretty much perfect so far. I got the normal battery life back and everything seems to work ok thus far.

I've had the same problem with the last two builds.

Anybody know whats changed with build 5, Goo.im just said I had a update for my rom and their build 5 was. I figure its just a resync up with the official 4.2.2 since its released now.

Yeah AOKP site says it fixed memory leak that caused random reboots.

I’m pleased to announce Build 4, our first 4.2.2 based release!

This time we’ve focused on bugfixes, a flawless AOSP merge and also on extending our lunch table: we added a few new devices thanks to our new maintainers: dhacker, Hashcode and Quan!

New devices (scroll down to see the full list!)
    evita - HTC One XL
    maserati – Motorola Droid 4 (XT894)
    solana - Motorola Droid 3 (XT862)
spyder – Motorola Droid RAZR (VZW / XT912)
targa – Motorola Droid Bionic (XT875)
    toroplus - Galaxy Nexus (Sprint)
    umts_spyder – Motorola Droid RAZR (GSM / XT910)

For the compete list of changes visit our code-review page.

Zips are uploading continuously, check back a bit later if a build for your device isn’t ready yet. Please note that the files on goo.im need to be processed first (5-10 minutes) before they can be downloaded.

Wiping data is highly recommended as usual, of course it’s a must if you’re switching from another ROM or coming from 4.0.x / 4.1.x.

    Hey All,

Here we go again! We’re eagerly waiting for the 4.2.2 update from Google – hopefully the team won’t need to start over again. :) Please don’t report issues regarding bluetooth, it can’t/won’t be fixed before the 4.2.2 merge.

Sadly we have had some problems funding our buildbox (which spits out the releases below) so we decided to open a shared PayPal account for the team. Device threads will be updated with the URL soon; we’ve enabled the donation station on the right side of this page if you would like to contribute.

Now back to our latest release:

New devices (scroll down to see the full list!)
    a510 – Acer Iconia Tab A510
    hercules - Galaxy S2 (T-Mobile)
    i9100 - Galaxy S2 (International / Exynos)
    i9100g - Galaxy S2 (International / OMAP)
    t0lte - Galaxy Note 2 LTE

    New features
    General UI
UI mode selector – Phone / Phablet / Tablet
Transparency control for all the things!
    Dual panel at any DPI
    Car Home is back
    Lockscreen
Allow timeout / instant lock for Slide
Quick unlock (PIN/password can unlock without pressing enter)
    Navigation Bar
Hiding NavBar – if you enable this, NavBar won’t be visible all the time, you can slide up from the bottom of your screen and it comes back!
    Recents – GB style
    Custom icon tint
    Menu UI overflow
    Statusbar
    LastApp Toggle

Some fixes have been added too, check it out for yourself on our code-review page.

Happy New Year Kanglings! Here is a surprise for you. We’ve been pretty busy since November, let’s see the details.

We had to start over again because of 4.2. It was a tough decision but in the end we managed to forward-port most of our features and here we are with our first 4.2.1 based build.

Following Google’s original branch name our releases will have a version string of “JB-MR1”, eg. aokp_device_jb-mr1_build-x.

In this initial release we focused only on features – hence the short device list -, porting comes next.

    Devices

    maguro – Galaxy Nexus (GSM)
    toro – Galaxy Nexus (Verizon)
    grouper – Nexus 7 (WiFi)
    mako – Nexus 4

    Features

    General UI
    Custom boot animation
    Custom carrier label
    Notification background
    Statusbar brightness slider
Recents RAM Bar & Kill All button
    Power menu options
    Lockscreen
    Customizable text color
    Volume wake & music controls
Allow any kind & unlimited number of widgets (new)
    Navigation Bar
Fully customizable NavBar (buttons, color, transparency, widgets, etc.)
Menu arrow keys while typing (new)
    Customizable NavBar Ring
    Statusbar
    Battery indicator styles
    Clock styles
    Signal styles
    Statusbar transparency (new)
Customizable Statusbar Toggles (new, based on Google’s tiles)
    LED Control
    Custom Vibrations
    Sound Settings
    Less frequent notification sounds
    Headphone action
    BT connect action
    Flip action
    Quiet Hours (CM)
Disable safe headset volume warning (new)
Themes support (multi-user support still buggy, use at your own risk)
    NFC Polling modes

We’ve also added lots of bug fixes since Google’s official release, and of course ported our previous optimizations/tweaks as well.

Galaxy Nexus builds ship with LeanKernel 5.4.0, Nexus 4 & 7 come with the stock kernel from Google.

You need to WIPE! In all cases for this build. Period. You also need to update your recovery (TWRP recommended) to the latest version before flashing if you don’t have a 4.2+ based ROM on your device yet!

Don’t forget to flash the Google Apps package after the ROM: http://goo.im/gapps/gapps-jb-20121212-signed.zip

The team will get back to the usual (bi)weekly release schedule once more devices have been added.

Expect support for Galaxy S2-S3-Note variants in the next build.

We’re looking forward to your feedback.

    Enjoy!

Be careful with the Swagger toggle. It was created by Chuck Norris.

significantly less features than 4.0. disappointing at best.

If you're disappointed at best, then what's the worst? You want your money back? You're gonna go back to ICS?
    Yousa people gonna die?
