Color Theme Mod

For CROMi-Xenogenesis 5.4 (DEODEX/ODEX)

TF300/TF700/TF201/ME301T

Requirements:

Must have Root
Custom Recovery Installed (TWRP)
CROMi-Xenogenesis 5.4

Files affected:

framework-res.apk - (full apk)
Browser.apk - (patched apk)
Settings.apk - (patched apk)
SystemUI.apk - (full apk, then patched)
TaskManager.apk - (optional) - (patched apk)
Transformer.apk - (full apk, then patched)
Stock Launcher - (optional) - (patched apk)
Calculator.apk - (patched apk)
Calendar.apk - (optional) - (full apk)
CalendarProvider.apk - (patched apk)
Contacts.apk - (full apk)
ContactsProvider.apk - (patched apk)
Email.apk - (optional) - (full apk)
EmailWidget.apk - (optional) - (patched apk)

Instructions:
Download the zip and copy to internal or external memory, boot into recovery (make a backup) & install mod zip. Enjoy.

Bluesphere requires that CTM has been flashed/Installed once before, or flash one of the modified Transformer zips in recovery.

Hey dude,

Do you think it would be possible to add the status bar colour mod to CTM 1.4 , it it is a simple port that would be awesome. The more i think about it the less I want to be on 4.2.

No this will only work on 4.2 but I will update for 4.3 once it has been released as full 4.3

Yes I have been meaning to update CTM for 3.4.7 with new options that are in the 4.2 version but been a little busy & lazy sorry.

I will get back into it this weekend and downgrade back to 3.4.6 (tf300 final build) & will need to find out what has changed between 3.4.6 & 3.4.7 to see weather I need seperate CTM's for 300 & 700 or not.

Another question....

I have modded every OS I have ever user to be entirely flat and predominantly white, black, and slate themed with a few colourful accents (think sense 5 - I dont know why ppl are hating on it, its gorgeous, slightly different work flow, but stunning). I like everything to be hidden away, and make istelf as inconspicuous as possible, which includes a completely transparent, self-hiding task bar/dock. Is it possible to enable something like this in android?

[White android buttons/black background]> No background <[White status icons/black background]

The middle piece being complete devoid of any background or glass effect. Either completely removed or completely clear if possible.

Hi pcj21! Since CROMI-X has gone 4.3 Final, would you consider looking into giving your mod an overhaul if needed to make it compatible with 4.3? (I'm not even really sure if it isn't already compatible -- I'm refraining from flashing stuff because of a nasty reboot I sometimes get and I'm hunting down.)

Yes will be updating for 4.3 this weekend just been a little behind as the wife keeps kicking me off the pc to play her facebook games

We all have our priorities. If you go against her, she will make you pay for it. Dearly. I have picked a specimen that doesn't play games, it's a) far safer that way, and b) very convenient -- well, most of the time, until I have to budget for a new system or an upgrade (I still game a lot)...

So I love the concept... I tried this on 4.3 last night, not realizing it wouldn't work, but I would get 30 seconds or so of functionality before everything would reboot. I'll definitely be downloading the next version when it works with 4.3.

Anyway, I have one suggestion/request. I'm not even sure this can be done, but it would help alot. I was basically running blind setting colors, and it seems that if I didn't get it exactly the way I wanted it, I would have to re-flash everything again. What I was wondering was if there was a way to have a preview available in the setup screens so that you have an idea what the final outcome will be? If you can change it while the tablet is booted, that negates this request entirely, but I didn't see any settings. As I said though, since it was crashing, I didn't have a lot of time to look.

Still love the concept though, and appreciate the work. Look forward to the version that will work with CROMi v 4.3.

+1 I am on 4.4 Odex and it runs great. Havent seen any problems so far except my Apex Launcher crashed but that can be an app issue when reinstalling them.

Maybe i'm only so far, but kept on having reboots with the theme installed on CROMi ODEX. docked or undocked. boot to the lock screen then screen turns off then reboot after. Im not too sure what's the problem here. Thanks btw as i tested it in deodex 4.3 was working wonderfully

Sorry maybe a silly question but are you using v1.2 for CROMi-X 4.4?

Do you have the same issue with DEODEX 4.4?

If you could get me a logcat of when it reboots I could have a look and maybe see if I can figure out whats going on.

I am running CROMi-X 4.4 ODEX version with CTM v1.2 and have had no issue so far, but I'm on a tf300t but I can't see that making a difference.

Is anyone else having this issue on ODEX or DEODEX?
