I've very thoroughly tested it on the HTC Wizard (character’s WM 6.1 AMP,
http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...63&postcount=9 ) and the HTC Universal (WM6.1, Tomal’s 8.5 -
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=454906 ). I'e tested with both MortScript installed and without it. No success on either device: no Wi-Fi network could be seen. WalkingHotSpot runs just great on both devices in ad-hoc mode under exactly the same circumstances.
I've also tested it on an MS Smartphone (an HTC s710 / Vox running the factory firmware upgrade from January 2008) with SPHelper (so that I can click the "Run network configuration" dialog.) No success: even with a network connection defined, it wouldn't notice this fact. That is, I couldn't even get to (seemingly) start dial-up sharing.
Did anyone have any success with the Wizard / Universal or any MS Smartphones?
