Run a test with APItest from the GFMAPI package. Here's a nobrainer:

- get the latest GFMAPI release.

- make sure you connected your earpiece as it works as antenna
- start APITest.exe from the GFMAPI package.
- press PowerOn
- tune a station which is known to transmit RDS, using SeekFore/SeekBack
Now you should notice increasing values near the "RDS count=" text. If it does, everything works fine and you should get RDS with Power Radio too. If not, this can have a couple of reasons:
- tuned station does not send RDS data
- bad reception (in Power Radio, you should have values of 10 or more)
- GFMAPI is not working with your device
