Exclamation Thank You Guys!
Hi there guys!

I personally want to thank you for spreading my petition around the internet. It has received coverage by various tech blogs as well. Thanks to your great support, it's only 13 signatures away from reaching 3,000.

The HTC One S is definitely not an outdated device, and for HTC to just drop it like that is insanity, plain and simple. They dropped the HTC One V almost instantly after release, stating "no updates to Jelly Bean for phones with 512 MB of RAM." You can imagine how annoyed One V users were.

But for the One S, it's a different story. To many reviewers, it's a high-end device. Many consider it to be a flagship phone alongside the One X. The Jelly Bean 4.2.2 + Sense 5.0 update should be brought to the device, and any future updates too!

In a response to a post above, the second petition was created after this one. Petitions can't be merged on (from my experience).

Anyway, there's some hope here. A supporter of the petition contacted HTC with the following response:

"I can certainly understand personally that this has led annoyed and would like to inform you that I can understand you perfectly.

We have received the official notification that has not yet ruled on the final distribution of updates. Therefore I beg you to have patience for a few time.
You are welcome to follow us on Facebook and Twitter to get the most current and accurate information.

Thank you for your understanding and wish you a pleasant evening."

The supporter then asked for the HTC representative to elaborate on the information provided. HTC wrote:

"We are waiting for an final information from our specialist department. So I cannot say you anything about this case. Please wait for a few time, so we can tell you more about this."

Kind regards,
