[Q] fastboot error xt910
Hey guys, I've been doing this for a while now and everything I have done so far has worked perfectly. My xt910 had gingerbread from TIGO Colombia, and then I upgraded it to a 4.0.4 LATAM retail .BR version. That was months ago... After that, about 15 days ago I followed this thread.
And i successfully installed 4.1.2 in my phone. the only thing I did not get was how to reinstate the original CID. So I looked something up and found this http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2227422
which I followed and that gave me a fastboot error after the first time I tried to reboot the phone. Then, I looked up something to clear that up, and I found that flashing the kernel with a certain file ( http://www.mediafire.com/?s2ahqx4agb88spj
) could fix that, I did and it fixed it somehow, it fixed the fastboot error but now, the only thing it does after turning on, is it shows the motorola dual core logo and then it shows the boot menu manager 0.3.4 which is the version I installed to follow the 4.1.2 process, if I try to boot it up from then, it goes straight to a black screen and a red led on the top red corner of the phone. Then, I deleted the CID and now it won't boot after BMM. it only shows:
. Boot script begin
.. Insecure adbd
.. 2nd-init boot
.. Bypass CID mode
.. Convert Rootfs files
And that's about it, it won't go from there...
Please, I was just looking on how to install this http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2192532
but since I did not have the original CID, I did not want to go for it... I also tried the empty radio thing but it did not work, invalid command or something... Is there an easy way to fix it with RSD?
