Hi there,
I hope this is the right place to post this. Does anyone know if the root is available for the Yoga Tablet? Or what is the step by step process to create the files to root an Android device?
Thanks in advance
Hy,
i just bought the Yoga 10 and used Framaroot v1.6.1 to root it, and it worked like a charm.
Version of Tablet: Android 4.2.2, Software Version S100, Build-Number B8000-a422-000-040-131023-ww-wifi
hope there will be an update to 4.3 or even 4.4.
good luck
Use the latest version 1.8.0. Just did it myself. Boromir doesnt work. Faramir worked for me.Tried it today and didn't work with the Boromir exploit (only one in the list). Got "Failed ... Try another exploit if available (Error #9)"

Hi to all. I have a problem with Framaroot. No version works, I tried to use several exploits. It seems that the problem is in the presence of the 3G module. As mentioned in the previous message of koniss.

Framaroot does not work on the 3G models (B8000-H) with this build version.
You have to try Kingo root.
Lenovo just released a new system update. Some minor bugfixes and new bloatware.

I hope to have no problems when I update to the new version (B8000_A422_000_062_131225_WW_3GDATA)
, now that I have root privileges. Thank you, Kingo, IngoZ and koniss.
My Yoga 10 inch 3g rooted by above method after Lenovo update.I used this thread to root my Yoga Tablet 8 and it worked great. I also have one of the Lenovo A1000L tablets and this method worked for that model as well. Here is the link to the thread.
