This update is really making it harder for me to consider a nexus 5.... Thanks Will
Awesome update. Finally it's really stable, and 4.4 too. Just wish in the later versions the features would come back

Thanks man, added it to the OP
Might save us a bit of trouble with recovery and 4.4
Hey Will, since you updated the TWRP link, I went and found the link to the updated SuperSU 1.8 for you. Here it is:

Hope it helps and thanks for all you do.
Only thing that's bugging me is email/exchange service keeps stopping
OK I flashed over older version and now my home button doesn't work on all apps or the back button :/ . I guess I'll try to clean install it

EDIT: I did a clean install (wipe + wipe data, both 4x, before installing ROM + gapps from OP), and while the Home button works, neither the Menu nor Back buttons work for me. ROM looks awesome though.

Really strange, it's a basic feature that didnt change from 4.3 to 4.4, code is there and as clean as it gets, no reason that I see why it wouldn't work makes me scratch my head:/
GL and keep us informed if you get it working

I had that issue on the 11/29 release. Turned out to be google keyboard. I installed swiftkey and turned off google keyboard and the back and menu buttons worked again.
THIS! getting the crashing email as well
The rom running pretty damn smoothly though. I disabled AOSP keyboard because even though i switched to google keyboard the FC notifications wouldn't stop.
...
Can anyone tell me how to turn off the halo? Also any suggestions for saving battery? I think Google services is killing it very quickly...
I've been using the full GAPPS instead of the mini as suggested by someone else in this thread. That fixed my keyboard FC's that I got constantly (with the mini GAPPS).

Okay....was on beanstalk....wanted to try 4.3.....love the smoothness, but batterylife for me is not very good so I'm coming back to beanstalk - but dont want to flash 4.2.2 only to have to reflash to try BS4.3.
so would you advise me to wait...say....an hour before flashing ?
