Thanks. Will look at it tomorrow (Sunday) .
Looks perfectly fine and nothing to worry about. You can have different MD5 per backup, especially when you did a reboot of the device between the backups. TA also contains a logging area which changes while booting and thus is often responsible for a different MD5 per backup. Whats important is that the backup was completed successfully, since all necessary checks are done while backing up .
Great, thanks! As you said it is normal since the time is different and thus a different MD5 hash.Running XP 32; error on choice64.exe and choice32_alt.exe... :crying:
win 7 x64: all OK for Xperia Z1 compact.
A new device to add to your compatibility list!
Thank you!
I have made two backups; all the files into the ZIP have the same MD5 except the TA.timestamp.
It's normal, it's only a metter of different time or there's something wrong with it?
Hello!

I tried rooting thru motochopper but still TABACKUP shows ROOT FAILED.

Yes, but it has to prefix (begin with) 'TA-Backup' and keep the zip extension.can i rename the backup zip to know what file i restore in the future ??
Theres 2 possibilities here whether you are not rooted or you not pressing granted when supersu asked for a permission. Double check your device with root checker

Good initiative, Limiter!
Are the backup files interchangeable? Would be great if they are, so people can switch platform and don't care.
Great!Yes they are  !
I tested a few and they worked perfectly. If anybody encounters issues, just let me know.
Hi.....
The question is - if I shall restore the TA BACKUP (I made on 10.3.1.A.2.67), the phone must be on that exact build number on which the TA BACKUP was made (in my case 10.3.1.A.2.67) ?
You can restore on this version too.
As said hundred times before it's firmware independent.

2G networks can't support call data and network traffic simultaneously. This is normal.I've restored my TA using the tool and I have encountered a recurring problem that happened ever since I previously backed up my TA partition. While in a phone call my phone loses 2g/3g connectivity meaning that if I was to check something in the middle of a call I can only do it on WiFi.
This happened on all roms since I used the tool. Any suggestions on what may be causing the interference with my network reception and mobile data?

Backup-TA for Sony Xperia Z / ZL
Backup-TA can backup and restore the TA partition of the device. When you create a backup before unlocking for the first time, then you will be able to restore to full factory state. This means all DRM keys intact, Bravia Engine working in Album and last but not least your warranty when needed :highfive:.
