Over at Android Police, there is an article today that says Sprint Galaxy S4s are now receiving the 4.4 update from Google. It is also confirmed in a thread over at the Sprint S4 XDA forum.

According to Android Police, the update has added "Zact Mobile compatibility" - whatever that is - and a Prevention Information popup alert.

For anyone who wants to download the update and tinker with it - PROBABLY BEST NOT TO FLASH IT TO YOUR T-MOBILE DEVICE - it can be downloaded from Google's servers at

This news is quite odd, given that the international versions haven't received the update yet, and Sprint has probably added their standard bloatware to it. I wonder how long before T-Mobile gets it...
