Could someone offer Antutu results before and after. Would be interesting what the score is in every mode. Random I/o especially. Thanks and cheers.

Greetings - currently running #23 on my TF101 and love it with one exception.

While I am able to show a status of "connected" when using PdaNet+ from my non-rooted S4 to my TF101, I have no throughput to the internet on the tablet. For now I can continue to use FoxFi, however once Verizon chooses to roll out KitKatt to the S4's, I have been told that tethering bia Bluetooth will be my only option.

I have successfully established a BT tether between my rooted (but running stock OS) Samsung Tab 3 without issue, so I can rule out the S4.

Can anyone else replicate the issue or advise me on a work-around?

Hmpf. I yet tryed the inverted mode only once - with bad success. Hoped someone with experience or even better with NAND backups from before and after could do. The benchmark results from before are to read up on my blog. Maybe I can find some time this weekend then Ill dig up the topic a bit.

Problem on the Android default browser

Hello,
I went to the latest version of KatKiss (4.4.2 # 023) and the Android default browser no longer retains passwords. I have checked the box for him to retain password but I never window opens asking if I want or not remember the password for the site. So I wonder if I'm alone or not and if someone has a solution.

Hello, KatKiss users, what are you using for dynamic overclocking ?
1. Does it support profiles like SetCPU ?
2. Does it support per core settings ?

I was using SetCPU, but it didn't get any updates since a years now, and i don't want to take the risk using outdated tools when it comes to root.

I just use the built in options, under settings / performance. 1 less app running!

It did on 4.3.1 - chances aren't too bad. Worth a try.

You might want to try thiw:

Open the Brwopowser.
Delete all passwords, cookies, cache, etc.
Then go to settings -> Apps -> All -> Browser -> clear cache and data.
Reboot to recovery.
Clear dalvik cache.
Reboot to system.
Be patient, might take some time.

Piehti, I tested your method and always the same. I installed version 23 several times and each time I had this problem and that is why I came to ask for help here.

You read with so many ROMs that "everything works except HDMI out". May I say that I was very pleasantly surprised to find that the HDMI output from the TF101 works perfectly with KatKiss #22! Not sure if this is partially a tribute to Asus for doing the job properly when they built it, or to Tim for his excellent work on the ROM, but nevertheless, very pleased - and full credit to Tim for keeping our TF101's not just alive, but leading the pack!

Thanks, yeah you also have HDMI out modes in Display settings

It was a pain to bring back, but that's as far as I know the only custom rom with that option too O

HDMI out has been very useful, thanks for the effort keeping it. We took our TF101 on holiday and connected it up to hotel TV to watch films.

Just upgraded to this great rom and everything runs just fine. But one thing I just can't get working is mounting cifs from my NAS. I've read first post about mounting outside in some way but don't really understand what path I should mount in the mount manager app.
Hope someone can help me out.

I created a little script to mount cifs/smb share:

The easiest way to run this is to copy the 'share' file to /system/bin (or /system/xbin) then from a root(su) terminal just type:
share

The script will check for a 'share' folder at [ / (root) ] and if not found will (re)mount [ / (root) ] rw, create the folder then (re)mount) [ / root ] ro

It will then ask for;
'ShareIP' - you should only enter the address/shared folder without protocol
e.g.
192.168.1.1/YourShareFolder

'Username' - enter your username
'Password' - enter your password

Your 'Share' will now be mounted at:
/share/YourShareFolder

Remember to unmount the share when finished:
umount /share

Got it working here. As per my earlier post I used a dock SD card and simple restored the data onto a fresh /data partition created and mounted on the microSD.
As regards performance, I had so many apps installed this the tablet was almost unusable. It is improved now, much more usable and application updates and launching is not nearly as problematic, not to mention the re-assuring reduction in write wear on the internal NAND.
I'm using a class 10+ 64GB SanDisk microSD with a single ext4 partition for /data.

Now I'm experimenting with ZRAM and mustering the confidence to try ART. The continued growth in size and performance demands of many apps has been a problem for the tablet and I'm glad to be able to use it without too much lag. Running @1600MHz/interactive/row.

Thanks to Tim for continued support over the last few years.

I suggest you try using noop - I found it much more responsive than row in terms of general usage.
BTW it's amazing your hardware can maintain 1600mhz. Mine crashes after a few minutes...
