Are you talking about the s patch ? What are these patches? How did you know you needed the s patch?
Why you need your modem the zip have modem?

When you flash this rom, it opens aroma installer, I tried installing the L version first and it wouldn't boot. So I re-wiped and installed the S version and it booted fine.
Actually, I realized after I posted that I could NOT see my SD card. Not a huge deal breaker for me, but I'm looking at how to fix it. Meh.
Why basically every OGP are the same.
Make your Backup of your ROM and whatever **** you have on your phone (include porn, nudes etc)
Then READ ALL and ask if need more help but if your phone start a Thermonuclear war inside then you have been warned

I don't think so. Recovery reads the card fine, and when I flashed back to my earlier room, I can see my SD card fine. Besides, I have 20+ gbs of stuff on my SD card, don't feel like backing up and wiping to have it not change anything. I believe the path is incorrect on the rom.
EDIT: I see there is a new version called final. I'll download and try flashing that and see if it fixed the SD issue.

I think thats a kit kat rom different with jelly bean, i have flash stock 4.4.2 with LG Mobile Tool, my SD card all file gone, but space deduced. I think you should backup your SD card if you want official Kit kat...

22Hey guys. So I wanted to test the new LG KK and noticed the sdcard and some audio issues were present.
Downloaded the F240S sources, saw our AT&T defconfig available. Compiled a new kernel with linaro 4.7 toolchains and that took care of the audio problems.
Made a minor change in the fstab (ramdisk) and the sdcard is working. So thought I would share it with you guys. It's been a while since I've touched that device but man do I miss working on it. Ahh.. the glorious days when I had time.
So there you have it. An AT&T Kitkat stock kernel from LG's sources bundled with some of my sdcard fixing magic.
Anyway.. enjoy it guys. It's attached for your flashing pleasures. Simply flash this stuff after flashing whatever the vietnamese guy bundled together.
Note to devs or ROM chefs: Please do not bundle this kernel into your ROM withotu first consulting me about it.

1- Flash the cwm-6.0.4.4-v2 recovery form SonYe forum (Attached)
2- Wipe Data/Factory Reset, Wipe Cache, Wipe Dalvik-Cache.
3- Flash the Sphinx-v1.3 Rom
4- Flash Madmack's KK-4.4.2-Stock kernel
5- Flash build.prop with persist.audio=analog (Attached)
6- Flash SuperSU (Not absolutely necessary but I do it anyways)
7-Reboot and done.
No need to flash any MODEM
Does not matter what rom you are coming from, either Stock or Custom.
