Hello Middle Eastern XDA memebers, I am from Egypt, and am willing to buy note 3, but today at customer service was told that the warranty comes with N900 ONLY and that they won't even fix N9005, so what is your opinion should I buy N900 and there is no difference between it and N9005 or screw them and get N9005 I won't need warranty and it is much better than N900?? Thank you.

SM-N9005 is just a little bit better than the N900. The Adreno 330 in the N9005 is much better than the Mali T628 MP6 in the N900. There is No 4K video recording in the N900 and overall the N9005 is much smoother. The N9005 also has more dev support on xda.

That said, you wont really notice the difference between these devices unless you use them side by side.

The Exynos (N900) is 3G only while the Snapdragon (N9005) can do both 3G and 4G.

I would sugguest you to buy the version with which you get an official warranty in your country so in case you get a faulty unit, you can return/exchange it.

So we are almost in April and yet no official 4.4 for Middleeast, gotta love how Samsung loves their consumers. Their official twitter handle is a joke.

Hi.

Already have a KNOX tripped phone. So I was wondering how your shared Poland ROM works.
I mean I need KitKat, but heard about the Poland ROM has heating issues and battery faster drainage.
TRUE or just a myth ?

Reply ASAP so I can flash it soon :p

BTW I was thinking of flashing the latest update i.e. UENB7 ; any idea about it?

Try UK Stock ROM Version!:p

You tripped KNOX right? then why don't you try Custom ROM?

KITKAT Latest Version is XXUENC2

I have always used CyanogenMod ROMs previously majorly because simplicity; they cut all the crap out and increase battery life. But with Note 3 as the battery life is already humongous, I think I would like to have an all-function phone : until I get fed up of its features :p

I have no idea how other ROMs for Note 3 are and about all the S-Pen features included. Do you have some experience? Which ROM do you prefer (stable) ?

Best ROM depends upon the user and developers interest, U can give a try as you already tripped KNOX.

But read carefully the OP's instruction before you flash anything. Custom ROM and rooting has also other benefits rather than Battery life.

For sure there will be few bugs it may be from Developers or from Samsung but everything has a solution/fix.

You can try the TouchWiz based ROMs if you want all the features of the N3.

Omega and X-Note etc. are pretty good ROMs.

Note 3 users who bought it from Egypt, did you buy N9000 (3G) or N9005 (4G) and from where?? And is it Europe locked or Middle east?? Another general question can European version work in Egypt and any other country or not?? Thank you.
