Perhaps I can. My HOX is currently at a repair center and I will tell you what they did and i the problem is gone.
I got my HOX back and they changed the mainboard. Problem is gone !

So this is a hardware issue?
Because I read in several forums that you can resolve it by flashing an other Kernel or an Fix as a .zip file.
I'm on CM11 now, latest Nightly 20140515 with original CM Kernel.
I have the issue with the green pictures too, when flash is activated.
Is there any solution for this on CM11 /AOSP based Rom's?

For Sense Based Rom's like ARHD there seems to be an solution.
You can flash a .zip with updated camera libs from the HOX+ from here: http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=2415999
But sadly this fix doesn't work on AOSP based Rom's and alwas results in a bootloop :crying:
Maybe someone can modify that camera libs, so that they can be uses also on AOSP based Rom's like CM11?

Hello, here i try to deliver useful information to solve the problem with green pictures when using the flash in camera on custom roms. As you said though I am guessing its a problem for some and not for others (tried the toms JB build, had no issues there, also ran Domination Build1 JB build and had no issues and currently on tbaldens CM10 and no issues found there yet either.
Not tried any of Trips roms yet...
PS, my serial starts HT23TW13 (got phone on day of release)1
