That exploit was patched. I really have no idea how the hell this is happening unless it was deliberate on moto's part. In which case, KUDOS TO THEM!
open a command prompt and type "adb devices" (without quotes)
if you dont see your phone listed, its probably a driver issue.
This worked for me to unlock the bootloader. Winning so far. Now there's cyanogen 4.4.2 to do.
There are new recoveries for KK available in dev section.
I'm truly speechless tbh.
I think it was deliberate. I reversed tz kernel and code is the same as old. I think there will be probably security update that will patch kernel bug and tz kernel again, so people should hurry up with unlocking while it lasts.
Honestly, I'm stunned. This is like lightning striking the same spot twice. It's still amazing to me that Dan Rosenberg put in so much effort for a bootloader unlock for a single line of devices. And then it works AGAIN after getting patched! Just wtf.

There appears to be 2 version of the tool. I presume its this one (http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=2249773) as its older?
Hang on i'm not being funny but i did search- you try searching motochopper it takes you to the link i posted.
Also fyi your link doesnt work its just a blank page...
I suggest you look into things before coming too such rash conclusions!

Root works using @geohot kernel exploit. And when you root it you can use old bootloader exploit to unlock bootloader. Just unlocked my razr

After reading some comments I decided to add quick walkthrough (there are other ones inside this thread, so you're not obligated to use mine:
1. Get root exploit either from the original thread or from my dropbox.
2. You can also download bl unlocker motopocalypse.apk from my dropbox.
3. Put those files on your phone.
4. Install tr.apk and motopocalypse.apk
5. Run tr.apk, wait till it reboots your phone.
6. Check if root is working, if it does then run motopocalypse.
7. Check in fastboot more if "status code" equals "3" (turn off your phone and start it with power button + vol up pressed simultaneously).
8. If it does, you can appreciate @geohut and @djrbliss work by donating to them.7I was hoping you'd be able to do that.

It's not exploitable. So whoever flashes it and don't have unlocked bootloader won't be able to unlock it anymore. They used same "fix" as before.6Did you find the info I was referring to and get this done? You don't need the full blown House of Moto to do it. It'll certainly handle it no problem, but, you can get the FXZ, my RSD Script Generator, and flash the KEEP DATA script for your phone, root, then unlock, then beer.

LMAO. Now why the hell didn't I think of that? I don't know how much easier I can make it. The script generator creates a script, flash script, one click root (holy hell that's slick), one click unlock....I mean damn. You guys have it easy. We S4 GPE owners have to go to a command line and type fastboot oem unlock. I mean, THAT is a process. ROFLMAO

upgrade to 100% stock KK, with keep data or wipe.
added in respective folders for the lazy, the root app, the unlock bootloader app, KK cwm recovery, and twrp recovery.
Razr HD Utility 1.41 same script as version 1.4, only added the above files in sub folders for convenience.6
