Phone Specs:
* Samsung Galaxy S3
* SGH-T999L
* T-Mobile
* Rooted using CF-Auto Root

I recently rooted my phone using the CF-Auto-Root method from a website. (nasirtech.blogspot.) and a link w/ instructions titled Root T999LUVUBNC1 Android 4.3 Stock Firmware On T-Mobile Galaxy S3 SGH-T999L- Simple Tutorial. I wanted to know if during this process my phones bootloader was unlocked. The reason I want to know is because I want to install CyanogenMod 11 (CM11) onto my phone and I believe I need an unlocked bootloader for this and to install any new rom or else I could brick my phone. So does it unlock my bootloader? Is there a way to check if my boot loader is unlocked? If it is not unlocked how can i unlock it for my device specifically? Another thing is after rooting my device my battery drains really fast and charges slowly. Any help would be appreciated.

A few more questions.

* Do i need to unroot my phone in order to use triangle away?
* How can I recive OTA updates if I can't install CyanogenMod 11 ?
* Is there a thread or video that teaches me more about rooting and all of this android business?
