Hi there! What's the known issues with this rom ? Random reboots and freezez are fixed?

I am using this rom for more than 2 weeks now...
First i thought i will just give Beta1a try... But now i SDM using it as a daily driver

And n this period I have not faced a single random reboot... No problems with RAM management ... No problems at all...

It's fluid.... It's fast.... It's simply superb!!

Thanks a ton JustArchi, Kryten and others who made this ROM a possibility...

your ROM is debloated or what?

I debloated (heavily)all apps about samsung including badge service ,replacing tw launcher with nova launcher, replaced tw keyward with aosp cLock, replaced sammy camera with Google camera, removed inused frameworks(.jar) and no fcs anymore, only sammy stock is dounload ui,mms, clock, browser and contacts. But all this i get free 300mb of RAM(nothing opened),when i issue "top" in terminal emulator i see proceses what not show in applications running and all apps are not showing the complete ram allocation in xyz app. Ej: tapatalk 59Mb (what in reality occupies 81Mb in top -!!-)
In red are references!

Is possible what aplications manager settings show all ram allocation in each all described in top? If not possible, why and how works?
Sorry for my stupid english and this large post..if this not correspond in this thread let me know.posting in Q&A anyway

Apparently Scott form ROMHut has been in touch with you?

And I don't remember forbidding anyone to make a Mega mirror?

EDIT:

It's going my full speed for me right now.

+1

I've been running beta 1 for almost two weeks now, and I've yet to find one single problem with it. Battery is fine, everything is smooth and no reboots. I've reported this a couple of times in the discussion thread.

Friend finally rooted his phone and the first Rom I wanted to be on the device was this one!
1 hour later the dude calls me and says "Man can you get me this Archi guys number? I want to thank him and give him an award for what he has done!"

Haha
Brilliant work as always Archi and the team. You've made all the S3 users happy by giving us a taste of Samsung's KitKat!
Keep it up!

Hi guys, i have to warn you all guys that don't try the combination of power + volume down in archi port.. this might make your imei no. null. but even if you do that mistakely and end up with no imei than don't get panic and try to wipe the phone.. this might get even worse.. What you need to do is just wipe cache and dalvik cache to get your imei back. I don't know why combination of power + volume down ended up with no imei but i i got this problem twice in archiport preview 5. I never ever had no imei issue before and i flashed archiport on top of stock android 4.3.

So are you saying that we don't use the button combo to access recovery but use app like quickboot? And if we lose imei and baseband just wipe cache and dalvik in recovery? Please explain

    Bloat:

This bloatware was removed in Beta 1. You can install it at any time, preferably while installing the ROM. Installing any of these, rather than using other Play Store alternatives, may increase lag and RAM usage.

If you appreciate our work, small donations are always welcome, to any of contributors. But don't worry, we're doing this to show Samsung that kitkat WILL run well on SGS3, and we don't beg for money or silly petitions to continue.

You can use this ROM as a base for your ROM if you understand that it's in alpha stage and it doesn't work quite stable yet. However, no support will be given and by using it you fully understand that you're on your own with porting and using it.
If you decide to do so, you need to include proper information that your ROM is based on "ArchiPort", and leave a link to this thread. Using our ROM as a base without doing so will result in immediate report to moderators
