Everything working nicely for me so far.
So why is Messaging, Calendar and Gallery still from Android 4? Does CM need to add that or did Google not update those apps yet?

successfully installed ROM (with gapps) on 3.28.1540.5 firmware -- factory reset, dalvik cache wipe using TWRP 2.8.1.0 -- no issues during installation, relatively fast. very attractive UI, easy setup, excellent functionality...no distortion on voice calls -- SMS/MMS/Wi-Fi/Camera all acceptable...
overall, i am quite impressed with this release...

My 64gb exfat crad work very well
AOSP messaging calendar and so on seems to be abandoned by google, as they have now their closed sourced app avaiable through the palystore.
any cm goodies in this build yet? main one i'm looking for is switch music tracks with volume long press.
Are you using the launcher that came with the Rom? Mine doesn't look like your icons or launcher. My app drawer icon is different, and so is my google search bar
Nope I always use the Goole launcher. That's why it looks different

Setup Wizard fail + Voice Search fail messages. Cannot build a desktop, much less access status bar.
Wiped clean from your previous build (11.22) and flashed fresh.

I have just finished a CM 12 build for the m8 and want to share my "unofficial" builds with you.
This is pure Cyanogenmod without any modifications from my side.
Notes:
-Before flashing this ROM, keep in mind that this is pre-Nightly so there might be bugs here and there, if you find one, report it in this thread and I´ll add it to the OP
-The first boot might take a little bit longer, so stay patient
-If you dont understand something written in this Post, you should NOT flash this ROM!
-Neither I nor the Cyanogenmod Team is responsible for anything that happens to your device after you flashed this ROM. You decide whether to flash this pre-Nightly version or not
