Hi dicksteele,

I've just found out that somehow I did not backed up the efs file of some sort and now I guess there's no other way to get it back according to a guy who help unbrciked android devices locally.

Thanks everyone for the help.

I just scrolled back and read it was /efs that failed to mount. Do you have any old backups? /efs is a partition. Did you any TWRP or CWM backups?

HEllo likes to your files are broken. said file was removed or deleated.

any new links to those files?

Links for ODIN worked for me and the param.

They are here also.

Dev-host is doing wierd stuff now.

Click DOWNLOAD NOW instead of DOWNLOAD

Try that first to make sure it works for you.

If not I have them loaded here

From the thread I posted above

Param-TZ for MK6
If you *are* running the Official 4.3 (MK6) bootloader:
After flashing one of the stock packages, you may need to flash the MK6 tz.img and optionally the param.bin from the MJ4 leak. This is likely to be so if you are on the MK6 bootloader and have previously reverted to 4.1 firmware. The zip below contains two Odin packages. If after flashing the stock package and you are on the MK6 bootloader, try flashing the tz only package first (in Odin), then the tz+param package to see if this gets your phone to boot. You may also need to boot recovery and do a factory reset.

Read posts 1 and 2.

Which param-tz you flash will depend on what bootloader you are on.

How to identify your bootloader version?
One can find bootloader version with this "INFO APP" https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.app.info, u will find it under the "OPERATING SYSTEM" option.

ODIN is here

hey my note 2 was stuck at the recovery mode where it asks for emergency firmware recovery through kies but then after trying to connect it, kies did not show anything and whenever i tried to flash it with a stock rom using odin it gave a failure at system.img while installing twrp trough odin was a success so i tried to wipe data off which in turn gave me more errors about data, system etc and it showed that it was unable to mount storage i.e. it showed both the internal and external storage as 0mb. I tried changing the type of the drive but it was of no use also the knox warranty void counter was at 1 at the download menu (vol down + power) if that is of any use. after a lot of trial and error i have realised the problem is with the phone's partition and it doesnt have one at all nor does it show any partition before twrp flash which in turn led to the failures. So can anyone help me on how to create a partition for android? plus while wiping through twrp it says unable to mount storage and i dont have any twrp back ups :(
P.s. at this point even my sd card is showing 0mb or in short it is not being recognised.

i have actually tried post #31 and i did flash my phone with param and tz.img but all it did was unlock my stock android recovery. also, when i tried to wipe data/factory reset from the stock android recovery it said
--wiping data...
formatting /data...
E:format_volume: make_extf4fs failed on /dev/block/mmcblk0p12
formatting /cache...
E:format_volume: make_extf4fs failed on /dev/block/mmcblk0p12
data wipe complete.
though now i am being able to wipe the cache partition but still it is showing this in the beginning
# manual mode #
-- applying multi-csc...
E: failed to mount /system (invalid argument)
can't mount '/system' (invalid argument)
E: failed to mount /data (invalid argument)
can't mount '/data' (invalid argument)
E: failed to mount /data (invalid argument)
E: failed to mount /system (invalid argument)
apparently at this point my brain has seized to think any further

I was worried that my phone was going to be a paperweight. My phone wasn't able to get past the Galaxy Note II logo. All that I was able to do was go into download mode and flash anything but i couldn't go into recovery mode. After flashing 4.3 param .tz.tar my phone was finally able to boot up. Thanks so much.

Sweet. It's hard as hell to kill these phones. Luckily someone tried that trick. I was in the same boat last month when I was testing.

Hi, i bought a note 2 and it was stuck in galaxy note II Logo i did that and now it is stuck in samsung logo, the guy that i bought it said that it was running OTA 4.3 and they root it and tried to downgrade it. i put twrp recovery and when i tried to do a factory reset it said failed.

    Just start from scratch
    http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=2618447

Then when you get to Post #3 steps, you can just flash a stock rooted 4.3 Rom instead of doing the 4.3 OTA again.
