Then you must have a hardware problem. How do you know that RUU flashing was successful? Can you post your getvar info?

after flashing the RUU, it said something about complete, and asked me to press power to reboot

To the lowest version you can get for now. By flashing for example firmware.zip from one of the first OTA updates. Download this one, extract its firmware.zip and flash it via fastboot:

Code:
fastboot oem rebootRUU
fastboot flash zip firmware.zip (maybe needed to run twice)
fastboot reboot

After HBOOT downgrade, flash the RUU that I mentioned above.

I have tried couple of time to flash using fastboot to no luck, I kept getting this:

fastboot flash zip firmware.zip
sending 'zip' (134766 KB)... OKAY [ 13.415s]
writing 'zip'... INFOzip header checking...
INFOzip info parsing...
INFORead zipped android_info fail
FAILED (remote: 24 parsing android-info fail)
finished. total time: 15.272s

I tried flashing using HBOOT, it flashed , but the HBOOT ver did not change

Flash the attached file (extract PN07IMG.zip first) through HBOOT. After flashing the new HBOOT version should be 2.27.

Really don't know what to say more. With HBOOT 2.27, S-OFF, bootloader unlocked and after succefully flashing RUU?

I truly believe it has a bad hardware, yeah I have been working with HTC even before they went Android, never had such a stubborn phone

sending it back to Swappa seller

First, thanks for all this information.

I have an HTC ONE 802d which does not work on 3G.... I dont know why.... I want to install a stock rom to verify.

I downloaded several times, different RUU.zip but I can not open them in any case. They seem to be corrupted ... Is there another link to prove?

Thank you.
