anyone else's stock browser not stay in the app switcher list? it says there for a while, then disappears. i don't think it's being clear in a normal way...because it if it was...i would imagine the apps would be clear via first-in-first-out type algorhym. (some older apps are still in the switcher)

does the task switch now only keep "in-memory" app? before, i'm constantly switching between the "words with friends" game, and browser...ehermm...and umm..not looking up words.

but now the i have to re-open the browser from a shortcut, rather than the app switcher.

I updated from 1.8x and so far almost everytihng seems perfect. I use file manager HD which is a great app, but ever since i updated to 2.02 it doesnt work right while i have root mode enabled. Maybe its an issue with the new SU app?

Question....
I have the previous version of prime, not had the chance to update to the update from this weekend.

But what i noticed is that keys dont seem to always respond anymore.
Especially the lock key.

When my tf screen is off, and i press the keyboard unlock button in the top right, it doesnt respond.

I sometimes have to hit it 4 times before it will respond and wake up.

Is this a general tf issue or is this due to the rom or????????

quite annoying.
Thanks,

NTFS

"v2.0.2 - Patch
Fix for User-Agent settings where Desktop shows the Mobile version of web pages in the default browser
Added recognition of NTFS module supplied with custom kernels where TNTFS has been removed from the Boot Ramdisk"

does it means we can read a NTFS microSD or slave USB hard disk with your ROM ?

thanks

I have renstalled the 2.0.1 version, and configured the wifi with my new router, I'll see f the problem occurs again. Right now, its ok.
Do you knnow if there is some log I can find in the system directories to have some info in that case ?

What has OC Daemon got to do with the ROM? It's for Overclocking and managing screen states. Last time I checked these were both in the kernel. I assume you have installed an OC kernel to work with this since Prime's kernel is stock Asus.

Yep, happening to me too, with stock browser and dolphin since upgrade to 2.0.2. Not a big deal, but it does mean all my tabs have been closed - not great since my open tab count is usually well into double figures!

Asus external keyboard update?

I got pinged yesterday that my TF has downloaded and update for the Asus external keyboard and awaiting confirmation from me to apply it.

Can I safely apply this or will it mess with this ROM? might be a noob question, but just don't what something to blow up over a minor thing like this.

Thanks!

Interesting... always love new Keyboard updates!

On another train of thought, using this ROM w/o changes except removing some apps with Titanium Backup, I have encountered 2 issues: my left side speaker seems to be too loud, or maybe faulty even (this i think more is the issue) causing severe sound distortion, the second however is that a few times since this latest release I have had to reboot my TF whos WiFi is ALWAYS on, because it is greyed out and says "Turning Off"....

Anywho, updates afoot, back to Parallel Kingdom!

This is a ROM for the Asus Eee Pad Transformer TF101

    Special thanks to: CaNsA | Hacre | afm | MoDaCo | dc13 | supercurio | Bumble-Bee | RaYmAn | netarchy | Vividboarder | CurtisBeef

This rom is a work in progress and all feedback is appreciated. It is build from the stock rom and has a few tweaks added. As always whenever installing any rom, please take care to follow instructions as no one enjoys seeing their prized possesion not working.

    Instructions for CWM Recovery version:
    1. Copy ROM to sdcard
    2. Verify the MD5 of the zip on the sdcard, DO NOT FLASH IF THIS DOESN'T MATCH THE MD5 UNDER THE DOWNLOAD LINK!
    3. Boot into clockworkmod recovery
    4. Take a nandroid backup (optional but highly recommended)
    5. Install the ROM
    6. Reboot and wait... The more apps you have installed the longer the first boot will take... Please note that after the lock screen comes up your TF may be sluggish for a minute while the rom initialises.
    7. Install any available patch versions for cumulative updates between full releases.

    Rom Details:
    Android 3.2.1
    GPS - V5.5.8
    WiFi - V5.2.65
    Bluetooth - V6.24
Kernel - 2.6.36.3 (Stock) - CUSTOM OC KERNEL IN POST 2

    Build - HTK75.prime_epad-2.1.0-20111105
MobileDock Firmware- EP101-0213 (Prompts for install after first boot if required)

Note that this only works from the home screen and looks weird when you go in to standby from within an app.
If you display does bork then sometimes a long press of the power button (2 secs) brings it back. Once though my display blacked out and I had to hard reboot the tab.

I've attached the VRThemed Puccini home buttons for those that preferred them over the new ICS ones. Thanks to dwillMUFC for the zip.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THE NVFLASH VERSION CAN ONLY BE USED ON AN SBK1 DEVICE

Q: Do I need to root before I flash this.
A: No, Simply use the Latest NVFLASH version available to install a custom rom and clockworkmod recovery. Then if required, upgrade to the latest version of Prime.

Q: Do I need to wipe before installing Prime?
A: In general a wipe should not be required if you are upgrading from an earlier version of Prime but if you experience any sluggishness or are coming from another rom then a wipe Should be performed before installing the rom. My advice is to take a backup before installing any rom, give it a try and if you get any errors or issues then perform a factory reset either from Settings - Privacy or perform a wipe from Clockworkmod Recovery.

Q: Do 3G USB Dongles work with this
A: Currently only HUAWEI dongles are working. The 3G settings can be activated by using the 3G Toggler App.

A: Zion is where free humans live.

    Alright.

In general, it is ok to remind members to ask questions in the General or Q&A section of a forum. It is NOT ok to make them point of ridicule if they make a mistake.

Consider this a warning. I will start infracting or banning if this behaviour continues.

    Let's continue DEVELOPMENT in here.
