Flashing question

Ok so i flash new roma and i wipe both caches reformat system, data, and the data1 but whenever i reboot the same wallpaper and ringtone settings are still applied am i missing something here the roms are working great but it bothers me because i feel im not clean flashing if those are still there

I'm not sure, but I believe that those things are kept on your internal SD Card, check in ringtones, thumbnails, and DCIM.

Yes, I use Philz CWM and keep backups, DCIM, and "efs" on a 32GB EXT SDCARD. That way if accidently wipe or format the internal SDCARD, I don't have to go through the hassle of dragging out the exspansion drive to restore the files. Once you settle on a rom you like, you can still get media i.e. pics, music, and videos from the EXT SDCARD anyway. They don't have to be on the internal SDCARD to be played on the device.
