I need some help with the 3/29 build of this ROM. It works fantastically. SUPER stable. I recently updated to the 4/9 build, found that it lacked the same smoothness and stability (my experience, not necessarily everybody's) and restore to my 3/29 nandroid backup.

Now back on the 3/29 build it seems like all processes quit when put in the background. Everytime I hit the Home key my launcher reloads like I just installed it. Many apps do the same, loading from scratch when I open the rather than start where I left off. Obviously having this happen to the launcher is infuriating as it's my start point for almost everything.

• I've made sure that Settings > Developer Options > Background Process Limit is set to 'Standard Limit'
• I've made sure that Settings > Developer Options > 'Don't keep activites' is NOT checkmarked
• I've tried all CPU governor settings. conservative, ondemand, performace etc. Same results across the board.

Can I provide a logcat or something for somebody to help troubleshoot this? What info do you need?

Go into Recovery, Wipe Dalvik Cache, Fix Permissions, Reboot

Should take care of that.

Sorry, wasn't referring to the lack of updates. Was referring to the lack of replies. Maybe everyone is lime me and has not had any problems with the rom?

What is there to be done atm anyway? 4.0.5 isn't out and there haven't even been any major merges to CM9.

This ROM is solid.

Yeah this rom is pretty solid with the exception of the market error problem. But that is easily remedied by flashing the latest gapps.

My phone is randomly switching to 1X every so often, even though I'm in a 3G area. Did anyone else notice this?

Been on stock for a month now. How's the performance of BB latest nightly vs pure stock ICS 4.0.4? Is it actually snappier and smoother? I used to flash BB all the time but had to stop because of work etc.

Performance compared to stock is close. I flashed mainly for toggles and SMS contact pictures in the notification drawer.

It seems after a couple weeks on this ROM that I'm experiencing more issues everyday. one day my phone wouldn't wake up. Today my home key went unresponsive while I was on Facebook app. I'm finding myself rebooting to fix issues more and more. Looking for a switch to a new one.

Did anyone come up with a fix for not being able to purchase apps in play store? There's alot of pages here and I can't find anything.

Thanks

builds should be called weekly since its once a week it gets updated

"Nightly" is the recognized wording used, if not I'd call it "When I get time or things need fixing" lol. I'm one of the few devs left who still build ROMs for my own personal enjoyment, some of you may have realized this already. Because of that, when I see fit, I make new builds :)
