** Struck at boot screen (red logo) after updating VenusX 3.2 Gingerbread version **
Even I had this issue today while updating this custom rom. But got it resolved.
Had to boot to recovery mode and
1) wipe data / factory reset and once done chose
2) reboot system now .
Note: If camera button does not respond / work, use the enter button on the Keyboard.
After reboot.. Please be patient.
It will take a while before it comes to the main screen.
If you get activation screen. (Emergency Dial & choose Language option)
Bypass it by tapping the screen on the top left, top right, lower right, lower left (in this order).
I have tested the mobile using a GSM sim as well..
Hope this helps...
i forgot to sbf (too eager)once you have a fresh install of 2.3 stock, just install venus from the recovery menu, it will install fine.
try uninstalling RSD lite and then reinstalling it. thats how I finally got my system to recognize the phone. also, changing USB ports and running as administrator might not hurt trying out too.i forgot to sbf (too eager)
i installed VenusX on my D2g and got stuck at the Splash.
i tried to sbf but my bootloader is blank when it gets to it.
what do i do?
Windows and RSD dont even notice my phones plugged in.
Before the install .zip file (VenusX RC1.zip) Which version .sbf file should i flash with rsdlite? Where can i download that .sbf?
Which program should i use to root? i dont know how to use ADB.Does superoneclick work?
i gotta use Droid 2 Recovery Bootstrap to install VenusX D2G RC1.zip? is it correct recovery program for D2G?
Sorry for my poor english. Thanks for r understanding.
Yes...!Wipe data\cache.
ngocha2006, do you mind providing an update.zip to replace the jedi android logo with the default Motorola red M logo? The pic you choose is blindingly white especially since phone fires up at full brightness initially. Plus restoring nandroid won't replace this change, it would stay there until SBF.
Or if anyone knows how to flash back original M logo without going through the hassle of SBFing, updating/etc?
