Edit: Also a little bonus which doesnt really show anything I didnt have time to play with the phone, Im still on my first charge cycle with some gameplay (around 45min) of dungeon defenders. The rate at which the percent drop is noticeably lower, also the phone doesnt get so hot which is a good thing.

Almost feel like this should have been the original design of the phone in the first place. They wanted that world's thinnest smartphone title so they compromised. I don't like that.
Thats exactly what I thought when I got the battery pack
It just looks completely natural, I even like it more than with original battery. I am not really that crazy for "thin" devices.

Now seriously, I agree with scorpion667. Samsung should have released the SGS II with this battery, I know we all love our phone to be so thin, but I'd rather sacrifice a little thinness for more power.
I just hope this new profile will fit into SGP Ultra Silke and Ultra Capsule cases (hope you can comment on this as well)

I will definitely look for the battery here in Hong Kong, surely it is out here.

I dont really have problems with battery life, I learned how to preserve battery on my previous android phone. On the original battery I usually got 1 and a half to 2 days of battery life. Im using lulz kernel with lulzactive governor, undervolted, and undervolted gpu with lowered 2d clock from 160mhz to 100mhz @ 750mv. I have developed a habit to turn off data connection/wifi with widgetsoid widget every time I dont need internet connection or turn the screen off.
Well it seem I am getting a lot of PMs if I can buy and send them over. So Ive decided Ill go through with it I just hope I dont run into trouble with this so.
If you are not able to buy one in you country or the date of the first batch is too far away (you have to take the shipping time into account) Drop me a pm (even if you already did, ive cleaned up my inbox.
Dont send me your adresses right now, just send me a PM with the requested quantity (for your friends etc) and shipping/payment method (paypal is prefered). Tommorow night I will count how many pms I got, send everyone a confirmation PM asking for your address and sort out the payment. After that I won't accept new requests until the first batch is sent & sorted out. Then Ill order the number of batteries requested, pick them up next day and send them.
Also for the sake of my nerves I would prefer UPS as shipping method as they ship worldwide and I can send everything from one place at once. (Edit: Ok not UPS, its too expensive, Ill look for better alternatives)

Do you mean back case? Because back one is included. And if you ask for soft and/car holder/case, see my previous posts.
I think sgp barely there case will fit afthere this battery

Tests result
New back case is 1.2mm thicker than original. Based on quick tests (3 cycles) (with brutal force computing and 3D graphic) battery has +23% life time, but charging takes only +18% of normal charging time. Temperature during charging is +6K (oC). Phone with extended battery fits all cases i have tested so fare.

I just looked at the pics of the SGS II variant arriving on Sprint in the US. It looks like maybe this larger battery + new back cover are included.

Well I for myself would really like to have one, but ain't the Price is stiff? I mean Euro 45? I think it's high. What would happen to our old 1650 mAh ones? They (Sammy) should take it back and replace it, officially.
Besides, I think a proper is testing is needed to be done with this, how much increase in juice will one actually get with this, a test with Display On time would be preferable.

50€ for +20% of battery life....I will just pray that this battery will be available in my country... Still, that is a nice off you to help the others.

Soo my extended battery finally arrived. It is genuine samsung battery that comes with new backplate. The battery is a little bit thicker so it makes the phone 1mm thicker. On the other hand it hides and protects the camera lens, it feels better in the hand and its cheap, only 23 euro ! Without further talking Pictures: (I will add pictures of the kit with the phone later cause my sister took my digital camera and as you know, the phone cant take pictures of itself Though Im going to try some troll mirror technology later today
So as you can see its genuine samsung battery, Doesnt add too much bulk, its high quality, just what I wanted. I wanted bigger battery but I hate those ugly bulky cheap plastic batteries.

Ill make some tonight. My sister has my camera so I cant take them now, Though I must say it looks great, basically the thickness is only added where the original backplate was and now it matches with the thickness of the bottom part where the speaker is. It looks completely natural plus the camera lens is now deeper and doesnt stand out, so when you put your phone on a table the phone doesnt lie on the lens. And BTW the phone is still slimmer than SGS1
