Hi guys,
Im working for this features:
- Custom icons in home and start menu. -Done-
- Custom taskbar icons. -Done-
- Update new drivers for HTC Surround 2250.21.50000.502. -Done-
- Off course, the sound effect button works fine. -Done-
- Update the lastest HTC Apps: Connection setup, Sound Enhencer, Attentive Phone. -Done-
- Increase more running background task. The quality of running background tasks depend on your free of RAM. -Done-
- Increase battery life time. -Done-
- Increase speed. -Done-

Hi Guys,
Just got some questions.
My Os version is 7.10.7720, PD26100 and SPL4.3.2250.0.

I would really like to try this rom but found this comment on another thread:
WARNING TO ALL:
Do NOT use RSPL / HSPL with Mozart 4.XX and other RUU ROMS with MANGO.
All WP7F devices affected: MOZART, GOLD, SCHUBERT, MONDRIAN, SPARK!
It will damage your device. Not a joke.

Do I need to downgrade my phone?. Which rom do you recommend to try?, once downgraded, do I follow the instructions in this thread to load this rom?.

Thanks for your help.

Download Attached ansar's_Custom_RUUextract the contents of *.zip
download Mondrian Cingular 1.xx Radios From Here
extract the contents of *.7z
copy SPL_Signed.nbh from stock folder to same folder as RUU
bring your Mondrian into Bootloader (Tri-Color Screen) By Pressing Sound Down Key and Power on key
connect your Mondrian via USB to your computer
execute ROMUpdateUtility.exe
follow on-screen instructions

The Procedure Shown By Dft Using DFT_XSPL_WP7FG1.rar


Then U Can Install Any Custom Rom ...

V2 have two options now:
- One with custom Icons .
- One with stock Icons.

Hi,

Have a question about the Cingular radio file, the phone that I have has ATT at the corner,but I'm using another provider. Will this make a difference?.
I'm a complete newbie...

Really appreciate your help!!!

No it will Not Make Any Problem With At&t .
it is only Radio File Which Helps Mobile To Know Network it has nothing to do with provider it will work worldwide.

i feel that the phone is a bit hot i use it.
maybe its just me.

missing icons?

I am wondering if its just me...but when I go in zune I know longer see the play button beside the artist name or where it says "shuffle all" under songs if I push the black space it works but I don't see the icon

No such problem I am using v2 ModedIcons.and there is play icon and it is working too.Try reset device or reinstall rom again.

    V2 have two options:
    - Stock UI, download file with name: NhatHoa_SurroundRom_8773_25Langs_V2_No_ModedIcons.rar
    - Modified icons, taskbar icons, download file with name: NhatHoa_SurroundRom_8773_25Langs_V2_ModedIcons.rar


    Rom feature.
    - Base on Ship Rom for HTC Surround 5.00.502.00 shipped Rom for HTC Surround.
    - OS 7.10.8773.89
    - My custom Roms flash package (the RUU_signed.nbh) is only included OS partition.
    - Newest Ultrashot Full Unlocked, IExapinstaller, Opera Mobile works, System apps work.
    - Multilanguage: WWE, Ελληνικά, Svenska, Português, Norsk, Suomi, Dansk, UK English, Nederlands, Čeština, Русский, Magyar, Español, Français, Deutsch, Italiano, Polski, Português (Brazil), Korean, Japanese, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, Indonesian, Malaysian, Turkies ---Thanks @pdaimatejam for language package.

    Instructions to flash my custom Rom.
    1. To flash my custom Rom, your HTC Surround has to got HSPL first, HSPL can find HERE. If not, please dont flash my Custom Rom.
    2. Battery has to be more than 60%.
    3. Turn your phone OFF TOTALLY.
    4. Put you phone into bootloader mode by press and hold volume down button then hit the power button.
    5. Plugin usb data cable and wait untill USB word appear on you phone.
    6. Now run ROMUpdateUtility.exe in my Custom Rom package and follow the ROMUpdateUtility.exe requirements.
    7. The flash process will take you about 5 minutes.
    8. Enjoy.

    Thanks for your good reports. Off course, I can add color icons, color taskbar icon, but it will mke rom more heavy and not smooth.

    If you love XBMod custom icons, hit the attatchment. :)
