Love the ROM but getting terrible battery life. 5.5 hours! Fwiw, I've been flashing ROMS since my G1...not a rookie, I was getting 12 hours with same apps in GB...

I'd say reflash, I'm getting 20+ hrs with fairly heavy usage; 3+ hrs screen time. Battery is very good.

Are we still aiming for a release this weekend of an update? :) Once permissions are fixed I'm all set.

when tethering, and if I want to watch Hulu, it won't load due to ad block
so how would I go about watching hulu while tether and still have ad block active?
I would say, replace the host file in system/etc with the stock one and use an adbocking app of your preference

You could pull the hosts file from Sean's LD2 ROM. It says he edited it to for allow Hulu. Probably removed every line that contained the word "hulu" as this post suggested.

I'll give it try and see if it helps, 'cause the alternative is adding the stock host
and that will allow all kinds of ads, and I like playing games without ads on there and I don't want to install 3rd patty apps

I second this... I really like that. What ROM is that from?

You are correct. But you'll also notice that it is "beta". Once a final RC is ready, you won't see any touhwiz stuff at all.

It's a process to get to 100% AOSP, or at least close to 100%. It can't be done overnight. M0D is working very hard to get this ROM to that point, but it doesn't happen overnight.

While I would prefer other parts to be more AOSP, the email app in AOSP/CM just plain sucks compared to the email app in these ICS roms.

AM/PM in staus bar clock

I saw in the OP that AM/PM was disabled from the clock in the status bar, but i actually like having those there, is there some sort of setting i can change to restore them back up there?

No, there is not. That is part of the AOSP. AOSP does not display am/pm.

Im getting random reboots. They come out of nowhere. Also, when I've gone to bed the past 2 nights, I charge my phone and put on the clock display. When I wake up my phone is completely off. Anyone else having these issues?

Has anyone found a fix for the shutdown/restart freezing? I didn't start experiencing it until yesterday despite running this ROM since its' release.

I reflashed and it fixed mine...and make sure your on touch recovery...haven't had any shutdown/restart freezes since switching to that.

    // Special Thanks //

I'd like to give special thanks to the following people. Without them this ROM wouldn't have been possible.

    romracer
    DesignGears
    My Therapist :p

By popular request, I have added a donation button
As i make ROMS for my own pleasure, I do not dare ask for them, but any donation is greatly appreciated :D

Is there any way to take the theming and apps from this and apply them to the new leak? I'm say this won't be updated since the new leak is a much bigger improvement than the previous was.

Which makes sense because the last one was built like two weeks after the first leak and the new one was built like 6 weeks after.
Alright, As soon as i get my hands on romracer's base and kernel, NexusMod ICS/Zero 2 is coming :)
