Thanks for the new release,I will try it soon if have free time :)
I had some problems on 0.19 version(full,light,medium),I think I shall report for your reference if possible.
- battery life:
from 100% down to 52% after one day of use.
With other ROM is 100% down to 70-75% for the same time (I'm using 2000 mAh high capacity battery)
- message: Unable to reply message if not in the phonebook(This problem can you give me suggestions and I can identify edit)
- No sound and show if the screen off when a new message.
I trust you will soon complete your ROM to be higher evaluated from the user.

I tested version 20 with music: All worked fine with me.

- Battery: Please try version 0.20. New drivers.
- Reply worked fine with Text and E-Mail. Can you please send me more details.
- You can alter the notifications yourself in: start settings sound. SMS does play a sound, but the display stays off. You can put it on in the settings if you want.

Excellent idea. Something like this we need for long.

Can we have light with HTC dialer, HTC volume and HTC connection setup, please?

It would be nice because that way we have fully functional phone (dialing, setting volume and mobile provider).

For all the 0.20 users: New drivers didn't solve the backlight...searching again...

I uploaded the 0.21 ROM's with the backlight fixed.

I reupload Light-Special 0.21 because it had notfication included.

Hi Buccio,

Which MEDIUM-one do you use, so I can try and repair it? I use light special at the moment and the bug isn't there any more.

Flashing...booting...testing...

Power off and on doesn't delay for a second to light up anymore.
Yesterday I replaced Backlight.dll and Htcutil.dll. Now it works as designed.

Sorry I flashed light...Flashing medium...booting...Also backlight fixed.

May be a task 24?

Sorry my fault i have reflashed the 0.19 and not 0.21 :D now i'm flashing 0.21
Edit: flashed 0.21 bug solved :)

Hi Buccio

Today I couldn't get a TOMTOM GPS fix. I didn't update QuickGPS. Do you also have this problem?

I have also AGPS off settings...I'll remove them and test again.
I also copied the newest Rilphone 1.15.25.14 in the Kitchen and flashed newest radio: 1.17.25.09.

Updating QGPS helps. I'll do some tests without updating QGPS.

Without AGPS settings off I managed to get a GPS-fix without any Connection setup or QGPS update. I will post an update in a few days. I'l first run some battery tests to see if I keep the Kitchen base or switch to a different one.

Hi htc0017, i always had radio 1.17 and 1.15 ril.. with previous version tomtom fix the gps satellite but lose signal often, i don't know why.. after i have used tomtom 2/3 times the problem seems to be gone.. with new version of the rom i didn't test it yet, maybe tomorow i test..

Rom: light 0.21 special

vCard (business card) cant recieve. It is shown as standard sms with text: Contact of xxxxxx

Another problem.

When I try to send reply sms using HTC messaging I get this error: "SIM card isnt ready" but this isnt really big problem, sms works normal using windows messaging.

Fixed Simcard not ready: Decompile 57a92846_manila - remove checks - compile again.

Deleting all uploaded ROMS
Rebuild and uploaded new ROMs 0.22.

    New lease of life for Blackstone.

    4 years on, which seems like eons in the mobile phone industry, Blackstone is still alive and well. Yes, its a sturdy handset - yours is a living proof of that (20 cracks on screen and still running).

    Sure, the standard Sense interface looks outdated and more fiddly when compared with Android, but its forte is the long battery life.

    In my search for better user interface for my Blackstone, I decided to give Android a go. So, over the past month, I had installed arrrghhh's FRX07.1 on SD card, and then fagyi's [ROM]{NAND} 2.3.7 [20 Jan 2013). Both worked well except for 2 issues.

    1. Low battery life. When on WM6.1, I charged the phone once every 5-6 days. With Android, I need to do it daily.

    2. Built-in GPS. For WM, I already have Garmin XT. For Android, I will need to purchase an Android GPS version + map subscriptions. Free maps for Garmin are available for my region, but I need to buy maps Android GPS software. I do not intend to use a mobile data subscription plan for using Google maps.

    So, back to WM and the one in this thread is the latest release. Over the past week, I had flashed all the variants of HTC0017's Orange ROM 0.59 and decided on Cookie's 2.0 for the enhanced usability of the Home screen.

    Thanks to you and the rest of the WinMo Dev people at XDA, Blackstone is kept alive and modern.
    Battery life is excellent: 10 hours on standby on Phone mode used barely 3% battery consumption.
    Garmin GPS is working, as with all other functions.
    The usability of Home screen is much improved with Cookie's 2.0 version.

    Yes, you guys at XDA have given the Blackstone a new lease of life.
