Aw man. -.- lol sorry for the trouble man, it must be a ***** to repeatedly upload the same file. If you are having trouble on your mac, perhaps u could do it from the butterfly directly?

Yes I did flash the boot.img. This is weird. I now have signal but I can't connect to the net using data. When I turn data on it immediately says disconnected. Should I reflash boot.img?

The ZIP from this link is perfectly working. Just to be sure, download it using IDM or something like that, and then verify the MD5 checksum.

Here's what I did:
1. Download the zip from here using your browser's built in downloader.
2. Copy the download URL, i.e. press Ctrl+J on Firefox, right click on file, then 'Copy download link'.
3. Cancel or pause the download on Firefox etc.
4. Open IDM and paste the link you copied. It should begin downloading.
5. Verify MD5 after! If it matches, then go ahead and flash the zip.

it would be really handy to see a step by step guide for this..

my device is rooted and running virtuos.

Do I need to lock the phone again, if so how?
Then what are the comments I need to run and in what order?

even the MD5 is right. the zip itself is corrupted.

MD5 is correct, filesize is ok, ZIP is corrupted.
downloading through freedownload manager with stop at 99%.

You are NOT supposed to extract the zip. Just flash it through recovery or adb (what I did). Hope this helps. :good:

Yes i flash it in recovery but an error occurs that its a bad image. what steps did you do for adb?

man, we know what to do with the zip. but a non-corrupted zip will open irregardless of how it was supposed to be used. afterdownloading, you can't even open it because it gives an error. tried fixing it with ZIP2FIX so I can open it but it wont flash. where you able to successfully Flash this to your HTC Butterfly X920D? If so can you upload the file to mediafire?

how should i return the recovery and bootloader to stock and change the status to LOCK again?

i succesfully unroot my phone using the link giving for the RUU. the zip itself is not corrupted. you have to flash in by an internal RUU. try to follow the steps here http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=1672425 but the boot loader will be in relocked status.

if it is not corrupt then why can't I open it. whenever I try to do so it shows an error that it can't open the file as an archive.
Can't even copy it to anywhere because it gives an error.

If you have a working ZIP please upload so others can download it.

you don''t have to open the zip. let the RUU open it. and flashing thru recovery wont work. i suggest you flash using ADB commands like what i did. why dont you try flash it first before telling me that it dont work.!!

I went back to stock 1.09.707.4 again from my back-up. I am getting a software update OTA but it wont update because it goes to TWRP. Do I have to re-flash stock recovery and stock boot too?

to update ota you need stock recovery only
