Charging bootloop and Calls Problem

I bought Samsung Infuse last week now I've noticed when I connect it to a charger or USB cable it shuts down and hangs on the Samsung logo plus I can't hear anyone on the other end when on calls they can't hear me too

please help

hmmm....it could be a bad charger port.....have you tried shutting it down then connecting it to the charger?
