insmod /lib/modules/cifs.ko
By the command executed from terminal emulator or init.d script:
Code:insmod /lib/modules/cifs.ko
Edit: nogo8888 was faster

Thanks. But the cifs.ko nor the module folder does not exists. I'm on Alliance rom 7.01. Yes I tried creating this folder and placing cifs.ko file taken from ICS rom, but it wont load using insmod like it did back in ICS.. With Sammy new JB roms, It is no longer possible to load any module using insmod ( I do this using cifsmanager not init.d). The only way to get cifs is to install a cifs supported kernel like DorimanX ot Speedmod (after installing these kernels, the modules folder in automatically created with many *.ko files.. I also tried copying these ko files and using them for insmod loading. Didn't work either..
Anyone here successfully loaded cifs modules on XWLSD based rom and Siyah kernel?
Thx

Try to search the location of cifs.ko. I think its located at /lib/modules. If its there use this command
su
insmod /lib/modules/cifs.ko
Edit: to check the loaded module uze this Command
lsmod
Edit2: you cannot simply copy modules from any other builds because it checks it ver magic against the loaded kernel.

Just plugged my phone into charge. The screen froze and the phone rebooted.
I am using AllianceROM v7.01 LSD base with Siyah 6.0b5. I have a -50 uv on steps 200 and 500 and GPU is stock values as set by the kernel.
Last_Kmsg attached
So I tried GS2KernelWipe this time before installing 6.0b5 with cm9 and it still did not boot... (black screen)
Does it work with cm9 for anyone?
