Hey Legend,

I am glad ( and a bit embarrassed) to report that after finally applying clean installs of 2 mod roms DMB2 based, I can say that I have no issues whatsoever, like lockscreen settings FC and status bar transparency not working (those were the only 2 issues I was having, in fact).

Actually, Status bar transparency will not stick only on custom roms with own modded multi-widows bar ( semi-transparent )

At least those are the results of my testing

2 cents

Re: [MOD][10 FEB] Simplistic Framework V3.5 *Want More? You got it!*{LL4/7, MA5/6/7,

I had this bad boy working for a few mins.... Installed DMB2 stock and then flashed CWM 6.0.1.5.....
Then deleted the crAPPS that I don't use like video hub, flip book, weather widgets, s voice etc and flashed NEAK 1.6x and ASOP Email 4.1 and also TWRP recovery... Rebooted and got boot loop again. I will retry again and do each separately and see what one(s) are causing it.

It works for me on wanam v2.8 as well after few boot loop.
This is what I did:
1. Untick the home double click function in the old version of simplistic control
2. Install simplistic control 3.5
3. Flash with new simplistic framework

I got this baby up and running at last on Stock DMB2 and use perseus kernel....
Normally I use "root uninstaller" from play store to delete the apps I never use that are built into stock roms, I have found that if I delete S VOICE then I get a bootloop. I haven't dare try removing any others yet though. How come S VOICE is causing this?

Hm.. that's kind of weird.. but as a suggestion, maybe you can remove unwanted apps with Rom Cleaner first before doing anything else, in case something like you mention happened :p

See this is why I love this place, everyone is happy to help :)
I had another thought, when deleting S VOICE I use an app app2home I think it's called that basically I use to set Google voice to open when I double tap home. I deleted S VOICE to stop conflicts. Maybe it's that that is causing the problem, I will check now as I am fiddling with this. I have used my head and made nandroid backups each time so when I find a fault I can revert back a step ;)

Nope, I can confirm 100% that S VOICE is the culprit of the bootloop for me. I have uninstalled all the other apps that I don't use and left S VOICE till last rebooting after each and every uninstall and as soon as I uninstalled S VOICE and rebooted I get the bootloop.
Also I ran Rom Cleaner and lost MY FILES app, I did run the back up first but can't work out which one it is.... Any ideas? I'm having to use a third party file explorer at the moment :(

Maybe S Voice wasn't supposed to be deleted? :silly:
I wonder if that the reason why Rom Cleaner didn't remove that one :silly:
And yes, my files is removed by Rom Cleaner (i'm using solid explorer btw), if you already have a backup, just search like antt00 said before ;)

Maybe some can help me?

Won't accept payment. Received two mails one after another: payment successful then cancelled.

Dev, please check your email :(

I too Didn't get till now, but dev told that he send me long back, i think he is talking about previous version.

Hope he will send new version as soon as possible.

Is there a way to mod notification pullbar image (the one like vegeta's thread) with this awesome simplistic app, LegendK95? :p
And I didn't know why, but enabling rotation in touchwiz sometimes make the icons position a little bit mess, let say it is perfectly done on portrait, and then touchwiz got rotate into landscape, back with portrait and then the apps position got down a bit than its original position (it almost overwrite the default 5 icons at the bottom).. by disabling and enabling again the mod, the icons position back to normal.. i wonder why?

The biggest feature that I miss from the AOSP roms is the option for brightness slider built into the status bar, eliminating the need for one in the drawer altogether. It's much more slick. I don't know how hard that would be to implement. It used to be stock TouchWiz anyway. I don't know what Samsung was thinking. Also, I really liked scrolling with volume rocker when keyboard was open. That would be cool on this framework. Really enjoying your work. Peace!

Hi all, after last update I have never had FC - as stated in changelog (before v3.5 I had FCs when using flashlight and SystemUI rotated); JUST ONE QUESTION: WHAT SHOULD "Full date can now be added to the clock view in the statusbar" DO? I have checked all the options under "Date View" but nothink happened. I thought it should show the date next to the clock on system tray... N7100 with Phoenix ROM v4. Thanks!

I don't know if I'm doing something wrong but I can't see the 'clear all' notifications button. Does anyone know why? I have stock MA6 deodexed and uNeak kernel.

NOTE: My other mod, MultiWindow Complete Control is included in this mod, you only have to install the application.

    Introduction:
You may be asking yourself now, what the heck is this all about?
Well, let me tell you. Simplistic Framework is a compilation of framework mods and hacks for Samsung based ROMs, with each mod FULLY costumizable through a control app (like AOKP).
That being said, most of the mods are coded from scratch by me.
This will literally turn your stock ROM into a very powerful ROM, packing many of the mods you all like, and ones you'll get to like ;)

    Who is this aimed at:
Everybody owning an N7100, on a custom ROM or stock one.
For ROM cooks look at the F.A.Q

Is this free?/How can I get the control app?
Yes and No, some of the mods are pre-enabled for you.
Other mods need the donation control app to enable/control.

    Check here for more information

NOTE: All people who donated to my previous project Multi Window Complete Control will receive this for free!
NOTE2: The Multi Window Complete Control was supposed to be a part of this framework, and only be in the donation version, But I left it out as FULL free and posted it for a bunch of devices, so make sure to check that as well.

    Features:
Enough chitchat for now! It's time for me to convince you, here we go:
Note: Look at the 2nd post for a more detailed features list, and the pre-enabled mods

    • General UI Customizations
    • Full integration with my MultiWindow Complete Control App/Other MultiWindow Hacks
    • Lockscreen options
    • Touchwiz Launcher Customizations
    • Customize Power Menu
    • General Status Bar Customizations
    • Status Bar Clock Options
    • Status Bar Battery Options
    • My fully customizable 28 toggles coded from scratch.
    • Control Hardware Keys
    • A LOT more options and new features!

    Before Installing:
You can use dr.ketan's tool to backup the edited files before installing the framework, so that you can restore the previous state of the device if you have problems.

    Check this great tool here!

Special thanks to dr.ketan, you're awesome buddy.

    F.A.Q
    Q: I'm a developer. Can I integrate this framework into my ROM/Theme?
A: Of course, only you have to not include the control app.

    Q: I'm having conflicts/fcs because of the custom rom/mod I'm using.
A: Most probably this is caused by lidroid's toggles, to fix that just delete lidroid-res.apk from /system/framework and reboot.

Click here for the amazing FAQ guide maintained by My1xT

Section also includes an option for controlling the delays of Home Double Click, and Home LongPress (Recents panel).

    V3 -> V3.0.1
    Bugfixes:
    - Fixes bug with bootloop due to S-Voice, should also fix problems with double click if someone faced any (which is very rare).

    V2.6.1 -> V3
    BugFixes:
    • Home double click now works if S-Voice was removed.
    • Potential fix for something that might caused some users to face the phone getting locked in landscape mode
    • Simplistic Control has many fixes, including the *refreshing animation* in some parts

    • MultiWindow Toggle Fix (Look at new features)
    • Fix for toggles not positioning at the left when the scrolling animation is disabled.

    • Potential Fix for NFC Toggle (Feedback needed)

    New Features:
    • Long Press Back to Kill! But with a slight twist. When you enable this feature, the MultiWindow Toggle will change modes, and become a toggle to choose what action to perform when longpressing the back button, MultiWindow or Back to Kill!
    • Next Alarm in Expanded StatusBar, replaces the carrier label whenever there is an alarm. You can also use a toggle to enable entering the clock app when clicking on the alarm view.

    • Power Menu: Screenshot added, Negative Screen Colors toggle added
    • And another big mod: Custom Battery!
What is this? Well basically, you have an apk which I will provide you with, you can add ANY battery you like to it, and then install it as a simple app, choose custom battery from Simplistic Control and Voila! The battery is there!
The apks can work on any Simplistic Framework starting from V3, and this allows to create something I like to call a "Battery Library" where someone can post a thread full of these batteries :)
    • Ability to turn on/off statusbar alarm, bluetooth and sound icons, as well as blocking mode's icon and notification.

    Merry XMAS!

    29
Due to the massive amount of people asking for stock arrows, they will be able to be chosen in the next version (they can't be colored tho..), I don't know when the next version will come out, as I'm very busy, and the to-do list is massive, so please no ETAs :p

Cheers everyone and thanks for you support :)

Okay guys, here's a small update:

Things are going great, I've been able to fix some annoying bugs here and there.

I have one thing left to fix which will take a day or two at max (most of the time spent on researching the problem), and then I will port the framework to the new bases, make odexed versions and release.

    Thanks for your patience :)

Oh and the update has only two new features (one of them is the signal indicators chooser, the other is a new toggle which I frequently use now, and I hope you will use it frequently as well), and the remaining things are bug fixes.
