So according to DXO mark the Z2 is the best camera phone beating out the Nokia Pureview 40MP camera. I found this a little odd since it has the same hardware as the Z1. So is it software that has been improved or are there some hardware tweaks as well. Mind you it was tied with nokia on still but beat it out due to 4K recording. I have been able to get some impressive result if I import large size PNG files into Photoshop and use that to process some of my images.
My biggest complaint is the noise in the Z1's pictures. I most often use Topaz Denoise for my DSLR work and decided to use it on a couple pics from my Z1. The result was excellent.
Here is an example, I will continue to test the firmware and see if the new update will improve it.
