That lockscreen gives you 2 options. You move it to the right to unlock the phone or to the left to launch the camera. I use that myself because I use camera quite a bit.

Bhitt, but using the lockscreen gives you no security - if your mobile was stolen anyone could access your phone?!

A question, i want to use the ICS Domination theme because i like the phone dialer more on that one, but when i flash the theme, i get force close as soon as i open the dialer and contacts. Is there any fix for this?

Quick question: is it possible to have the contacts list combined within the dialer? Because I liked the way it looked in GB. I've seen it in some other roms as well. (the Infinitum rom if I'm not mistaken)

Yes you're right. Here in Seoul though the likelihood is not that great. If you drop money in the street someone will pick it up and run after you to return it. They have some crime but nothing close to what you see in other parts of the world. So yes it could get stolen but the chance is so remote here that it is worth the risk being able to access that camera so fast.

Thanks for the fast reply, downloading the lockscreen now

Does anybody notice if you flash a zip using the cwm app that your battery drops about 40%, mine does everytime. I flashed the liquid battery ikon last nite & also some flipfonts both from the kitchen app (great idea btw!) & both times it dropped drastically? Anyone else?

short version: no
sadly i tried too, multiple ways/versions. from v9, it's not compatible anymore, i think, if i don't remember wrong, v8 was working (or v7, forgot).

You really need to do some basic cleanup and then you should be okay. Its up to you but what I'd do is first make a nandroid backup, then Titanium backup of apps/data. Then do a full blown format in Recovery so you have a clean system. Then flash the rom.

Well . . . actually several of us here use that app including the developer so it comes packaged with the rom. But as you have discovered it is removable. That said, hey Indie, thanks for the free Bible!

Passing it or copying it to system/app does exactly the same thing.I always say to do that anyway when I post cos sometimes these apps dont install like a normal apk. for some reason and if you dont know the root explorer way then you cant install them.

for sum unknown reason I just tried to replicate the error & its working perfectly

EDIT: what apps do you use for playing MKV files & other video files? the app that's included in Omega wont play mkv's full screen, can anybody recommend a good video player- doesn't matter if its a paid app

Am running siyah 3.1 beta 3 ATM will test for day and give some preliminary feedback. But so far very smooth.and no fc

Have you tried MX Player? I think it's supports .mkv as well

I use MoboPlayer.So far its played everything and in full screen.Its got volume and brightness controls on the screen too.
