I am still unsure of how to flash a modem.
I have custom recovery, custom kernel, stock rom and root.
May I flash a modem and have my system untouched?

there are 2 ways....

using MOBILE ODIN from Chainfire u need to use - in modem #2 modem.bin + and put this in modem #1 NON-HLOS.bin

or if u use ODIN v3.09 put modem.bin in CP

IF FOR SOME REASON IT DOESN'T STICK, use Triangle Away v3.26 is the latest Chainfire has... then flash the modem again, there have been many issue where the modem and bootloaders don't stick, and this helps make it stick...

flashing modem's doesn't change or do anything to your rom, you just have to be careful that the modem u r using is made for ur phone...

1. Reinstalled stock rom to get the stock kernel
2. Ran triangle away, asked to reset counter (it was already 0 but I did that anyway)
3. Asked triangle away bootloader to take me to the download mode
4. flashed modem via odin (modem from N9005VJUFNG3_N9005UUBFNG2_CHO)
5. PASS. rebooted the device on the recovery mode. Reset system
6. I am stuck in the N9005VJUFNG2. Rom: n9005xxugng1

happened to me also, sometimes it can be a pain in the a$$..

1. make a backup of ur rom...
2. run triangle away
3. after that is done, flash firmware via ODIN, or u can try mobile ODIN from chainfire - free version... but I would do ODIN v3.09
4. check in about and your modem and bootloader should change... but if u do not want the bootloader, then do mobile ODIN...

for my tmobile updates on my N900T I use 1, 2, 3 when it gives me a hard time.. after the firmware through Odin, and check and make sure everything worked, I then do Odin flash TWRP and restore my rom...

Oh, thanks for the tips but starting from 0 with a clean installation, it would be really painful to me at the moment...

It worked with this procedure of scarecrow2012 user:

When flashing modems I find its best to turn off phone, take battery out for 15 seconds. Put battery back in. Boot straight to download mode. Flash with auto reboot un-ticked. Wait a while while flashing. Disconnect USB. Reboot straight to Download mode again. Connect USB, this time tick auto reboot. Flash modem again. Once rebooted check baseband version.

OTA update

halo @mdiaz33685 & everyone
i have rooted my phone & using N9005XXUFNF4-BTU-hlte_Stock_Odex_Not_Rooted_NoKnox.zip from your collection, but several days ago i received a system update notification (downloaded file was 26.90mb)
i have searched on the internet for the changelog but i couldn't find it.
is it ok if i install it using Mobile Odin? just hoping it is not newer bootloader :)

hope somebody could guide me on this matter. TQ

I have flashed N9005XXUFNG2 modem in a french N9005.
Currently my phone cannot get the carrier signal. Can someone give me a tip about this problem? Did I brick my phone?

1st = I am not a Programmer, not a Developer, nor a Modder... I just love my ANDROID DEVICE's... these roms will not get updated, they are STOCK ODEX Rom's not ALTERED except for renaming the KNOX files by adding the extension .ori so they would not run, I did not delete any files from these ROM's.

2nd = How to install the rom, JUST go to RECOVERY, ( I use TWRP RECOVERY ), Always make a backup 1st.. These Roms don't wipe ur Data, so if you don't wipe Data you might have some issues, - that being said - wipe SYSTEM, DATA, CACHE, DALVIK CACHE 2 times, DO NOT DELETE SDCARD and EXTERNAL SDCARD, then just flash the rom,...

3rd = Don't hold me responsible, if your phone blows up, or for whatever other damages u do to ur phone, flash at your own risk...

    **************************************************
I made these Rom's for my personal use, and thought I would share for others that want STOCK ODEX Rom's, these Rom's are not rooted.
If you want the ROM rooted, goto Chainfire and download the newest SU available, after flashing the ROM, flash SU, reboot the phone, goto the Playstore and then install BusyBox, from Steriscon.
    **************************************************

before posting theses Rom's I test them out, so they have no issues or problems...

Anyone can use these ROM's as a base for there own, all I ask is - if you share any of these ROM's, give proper credit to me, mdiaz33685...
