Haha Yeah . Which kernel r u using btw? I expirience a few 'bugs' for example
1. Double tapping the power button to turn on the screen.(also it takes about 1 second untill the screen turns on)
2. I lose my connection for making phone calls and using mobile Internet sometimess untill i restart my phone.
For now i'm using the 4.4.4 Nano Gapps and Optimus Prime v3.0 kernel.

Personally I think it's a good idea, sometimes I have the same problem^^
Ofc it'd be best if the user could decide, but I can't imagine why anybody would complain about that.
Well, Evisceration told me earlier that he is planning to add this setting so it can be changed from userspace
And there is a downside, though: In order to properly use this feature, you need a fast proximity sensor. Otherwise it will delay the wakeup a lot...

I've never encountered this problem, however I can understand that it would be frustrating. I support this if it doesn't make an huge impact on the battery life and performance/possible lag when unlocking the device.
