Seems like build 4 of hashcode's kernel is now available. Will his newest release be incorporated into a new aokp beta?

Sent from my SCH-I500 using XDA

unpack the zip n replace boot.img and flash or fastboot flash his new kernel on this build. that's my plan later tonight, I've been dying to give aokp a test run!

If you're having a "kernel" issue on the RAZORBACK build, then you might try the following update as of today:

04-19(.2): KERNEL.ZIP #5.2 CAN BE FOUND HERE (FLASH IN RECOVERY): http://bit.ly/HW3dZy
md5sum: 55cd8c2c0a9ee68bc83f529c4173d3c0 (It's 11.5MB .zip file)
- Backlight Fixed! (Thanks to icemank121 in IRC for recommending to check the Archos Gen 9 tablet's backlight driver)
- Updated the kernel from OMAPZOOM w/ code as of yesterday.
- BUGFIX for PVR modules
- All new modules recreated from kernel source including WIFI

Any time i build with the 3.0 kernel it wont boot. It works if i use hashcode's. But as soon as i compile my own it doesnt boot. I'm using the same cross compiler he uses... So until I can get help or get a working build, you're not gonna see my aokp builds with a 3.0 unless you substitute it yourself.

I need to sync up the ics-aokp devtree with all of the changes to the CM devtree before this will probably work.

The other option is to embed the files from the latest flash.zip into your build and that should work as well.

build 33 went live, just curious if you are gonna be updating this? (unless it already is my bad!)

it was supposed to fix some UI and statusbar FC issues people were having. they don't post much about the kfire but seem to "officially support" it. weird.

AOKP has the older devtree for the Kindle Fire merged into its source (runs on the 2.6 gingerbread kernel). Once things get a bit more stable, I will submit the updated device tree.
