[Q] Really need to S-Off the Htc desire x to install busybox?

Sorry, i am a bit new at this, But when i try to install Supersu and update the su binaries i can't update them I'm rooted with (CWM Revovery v6.0.1.5) So during the process of trying to update the binaries my phone almost instantly reboots itself

You need to update su binary by flashing the SuperSU zip in recovery downloadable at Chainfire's website. It doesn't work from within Android due to S-ON. There is no suitable method for S-OFF for our device.

Let me to add in ..

The problem here is the stock kernel which is write protection enabled.
Busybox and SuperSU binary can be installed correctly when on custom kernel with write protection disabled regardless S-On or S-Off
