[Q] Can I replace just the glass?

I have a crack in the glass but the touch screen works fine. Is there a way to just replace the glass? And what glass should I use to replace it?

I think as with other nooks the glass is fused to the LCD.

Are your sure? I thought so, but it would be cheaper to just replace the glass.

1. That's the HD+ (not the HD, what I have)
2. Didn't have anything about the glass that I found.

A quick search confirmed the glass and digitizer are a laminated assembly.

Thanks. Eo, if I understand you correctly, the glass and digitizer are together (cannot be taken apart), but are separate from the LCD?

Yeah, that's my understanding. For all practical purposes, one piece.
